@@tylerknox6352 _Return to Oz_ wasn't an adaptation of "Wizard," so Toto wasn't obligated to come along. In fact, in the books, Dorothy went on her second and third trips to Oz without him.

It's funny because even though it's super condensed and there are still some parts missing, it's not that far from being accurate from the book. It included Dorthy getting home with the advice from the Witch of the South.

I remember this on an old VHS I was given as a child. It had three stories on it, and this was the first. The third was ali baba and the forty thieves, which I also found here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/odZkjKp5l9-wc40.html The second has still eluded me, but I believe it was another 1001 Arabian Nights tale.

This version of the Wizard Of Oz is okay. (I mean I do like anime, and I’m not saying this version of Wizard of Oz is bad, but this isn’t really one of my favorite versions of the Wizard of Oz). My favorite versions of the Wizard Of Oz ever are the book illustrated by Charles Santore, The 1939 Movie, The Tom and Jerry Wizard Of Oz, and especially the Beetlejuice episode “Wizard Of Ooze” (Which is my favorite episode from Beetlejuice ever)

That Rabbit is voiced by Cam Clarke, who did Leonardo in Ninja Turtles, Dogtanian, Kaneda in the Akira dub and a lot more. His voice is so distinctive (And awesome) I always recognise it.

I only know about a 1982 anime film adaptation, and a 1986 anime TV series adaptation. This is NEITHER of those things... yet it may or may not be anime. I'm not sure. Like Zoitality I am hoping someone might be able to provide information about what version this is. Does anyone know what year it was made? The title of the series? How many episodes it had? What country it was made in? What company made it? Even brief clues might help us figure this out.

Yup, there was a series that adapted the books "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" (Book 1), "The Marvelous Land of Oz," (Book 2), "Ozma of Oz," (Book 3), and "The Emerald City of Oz" (Book 6), devoting a season to each one.

As a kid, I couldn't stand the audio for this animation. It felt like it was screaming at me from the TV for a solid 10 minutes with no variation in loudness. I kind of want to redo the audio for this. Voice overs, sound effects, music and the such.
