Some great little touches Judy put into her character in this scene: 2:16 Dorothy blows a kiss to the City Council. 2:20 Dorothy waves to the Munchkins who have just arrived to her right. 2:24 Dorothy salutes the Sentry.

there will never be another like this classic. Other great Oz related movies, I'm sure, but never another Judy Garland Dorothy, in my opinion.

People have been wearing animal skins and fur and other bits ever since we've been wearing anything. Judy did not smoke at that time in her life; in fact, she was an anti-smoker.
