I have to take a moment and give The Wizarding Trunk a special shout out; I got my Hogwarts Ground box and opened it to find that the unusually hot temperatures had broken the wax seal on my vial of Unicorn Blood. My box arrived pretty soaked because the cork had popped up and the contents leaked. I wrote to them to let them know, wasn't seeking a replacement at all, just wanted to make sure the contents weren't toxic. Not only did they get back to me in a heartbeat thru email, they sent out a replacement item almost immediately which was received in record time. The customer service here just knocks it out of the park. The Wizarding Trunk is the best!!!!!!

The Lake View from the common room seems quite interesting. Would love to see what the outside view looks from other common rooms.

This was a good box. I loved the key, their keys have been getting better and better. I love that the Wizarding Trunk thinks of things I've never seen in subscription boxes like Madam Hooch's whistle! I love that Danny has teamed up with twt, his work is amazing, the book covers, the map, the potion labels, love them all.

Madame Hooch's whistle is based off a bosun's whistle, which are used on naval ships by the boatswain. It was traditionally used to give instructions to the crew when a voice command could not be heard.

Regarding the thestral charm, I love that it is simple because it's something you can wear everyday, even to work haha and many would not even notice it's from HP. And the whistle... superb.

I love that Madam Hooch's whistle looks like the combo of a golden snitch and part of a broomstick. It also has an antique look to it, and I love that it works really well, too. It sounds similar to the one in the first movie. 😃👍

I really, really licked madam hooches whistle. I don't know why but I love it. I think it's because i really love things that are usable and Harry Potter themed. For example I had a quill dip pen and used it for an entire year last year at school. And I plan to do the same this year.

I swear I've had this box for a month, waiting for your video, Peter! I have heard it's kind of disappointing, so fingers crossed. Thrilled to finally have a Ford Anglia! Don't like the Owlery key- like some of their other keys, that wouldn't be a key!! I'm almost sure in the books Slytherin's common room is above ground. The unicorn blood is the worst though- they tracked a wounded unicorn by drops of its blood, and never mentioned it was silver, so it's NOT. Worth it for the map, book cover, whistle and car. Over all, nice box. Oh, I love the threstral necklace too

Just received my box( I live in New Zealand). WOW, this WT blew it out of the park for me! Agree with your review, except for the Mandrake. I collect mandrakes and I love the different interpretation of this one. I also loved the potion, forbidden forest poster( will definitely frame) and pin. 🧙🏼‍♀️

pretty much agree on faves o-o particularly loving the map and key.. like I really need that key lol (been obsessed with owls again after coming across a couple livestreams featuring owls [and some other wildlife, but majority of the residents seen on regular are of the owl types]) Think I'd prefer the mandrake figure over the car lol. Shame about the necklace... I agree that it needed more o-o my idea for improvement more has to do with the fact the portrait blended in with the background.. had to really look to make out the details

Isn't the "off" with mandrake statues, that no one would ever put a mandrake in a pot without covering the face??? So as long as you can see a face, the statue is wrong...

I got Madam Hooch’s whistle on eBay, about a year ago. It even came in a lined, wooden box. I love it.

Ethically sourced. I knew there was a way. For me, instead if killing the unicorn, I would use a small needle and syringe and collect it that way. The unicorn remains unharmed and can be on its way.

The Map is great, you're right that'd be an awesome tapestry.

I like the pin and the Ford Angelia the best. The Chamber of secrets was my favorite movie/book out of the series!!! And I like how they made it rubber! The mandrake was a little off for me too, even though that's also in reference to Chamber of Secrets.

Thanks for the explanation of the pin. It helps me appreciate it more. I liked that the Ford Anglia was not heavy. Now I have it at a corner of the top bookshelf and it looks like it is flying. The mandrake was my least favorite. I was hoping for a Centaur figurine.

Peter Kenneth you could technically take the book covers and lay them on a table and kind of flatten them out a bit put something heavy on top of them so they're more flattened out. And then fold them to fit the books.

I used the box for the Mandrake to make a display "greenhouse" for the mandrake. I also really love the binder for the magical creatures pages. I usually give the pins away to family members as stocking stuffers at Christmas (of course, not the Keep Collecting aged wizard pin!) Edit: I wondered if the skeletal horse pendant could be used as a wax seal.
