I suspect if we get a Ork storyline it will be Armageddon being invaded by the Orks we will have Space Wolves and Armageddon Steel Legion fighting them back. We can then have a chaos invasion of World Eaters.

I honestly hope this rumor is NOT true for once... As an Ork player, we really don't need another big refresh right away. Stormboyz & Flashgits are fine. I don't want to lose out the ability to so easily kitbash the old multi-part Boyz + Lootas/Burnas + Warbikers + Warhammer Fantasy Orks, etc... kits Really, the only things we're screaming for are new Tankbustas and a few characters. (...namely, new Wyrdboy, Mad Dok Grotsnik, Boss Zagstruk, Captin' Badrukk, generic Warboss w/options, etc...) For the love of god, give those poor Dark Eldar bastards some love!! All they ever do is *lose* models & options every time they get a codex, half their range is unavailable/made-to-order Failcast, and even some of their "current" kits are looking a little long in the tooth...

With rumours of Sanguinary Guard getting reduced to 3 models a unit, I could see the same done for Wolf Guard. Reduced size kit, bodyguard of 3 models type unit, maybe 4 if they're turned into a Chapter Command kind of unit with Banner and other options. But I think they'll be 3 much like Blade Guard, Inner Circle Companions etc.

As much as I've been looking forwards to a proper primaris wolf release since 8th edition, what I truly want to see is an epic fight between Ghaz and Angron for the destiny for Armageddon. Orks do deserve their victory.

Ok, so hear me out: absolutely agree that the Orks can, and should, get some love here. If they can steal Armageddon back from the Imperium, that could be huge to help keep the galaxy in a state of perpetual war. Big problem for Chaos, Nids, and The Imperium. One of the other things that I think could come with this is another Beast (Primork perhaps?) maybe Gaz gets a huge waaaaaagh upgrade which is the tipping point for gaining their home world back. HOWEVER, would it not make sense to then have Vulcan return? Or potentially even both Vulkan and Leman. That would be a pretty insane narrative. Angron, Magnus, Leman, Vulkan, Primork, Hive Mind, Abaddon/Vashtorr, good lord the battles!

Would love to see Orks get some proper titan models. Like, actual gargants for apocalypse. If Eldar and humans get their own resin titans, I fail to see why orks can't get some of their own beyond just a gargantuan squiggoth.

My guess for 11th ed launch box pushfit ork kits would be: Nobz, Warboss with big choppa (which still has rules but not available in any in-production kit) Gretchin (Current kit barely has any options so this may as well be a push fit/monopose kit if remade.) Burnaboyz and/or Lootas (these both run the risk of not getting a multipart version if they do go in the launch box. Only the spanner has any gear options, and those rely on bits from a different kit, so mechanically speaking they could play more or less the same without a multipart kit) Remade mutlipart kits coming sometime after: Nobz and Boyz (at long last). Tankbustas being finecast are also very likely to be replaced, and given their mixed loadout I'd say they're more likely to get a multipart kit with options than a push-fit kit without them. New weirdboy seems like a given but could go either way in terms of being pushfit in the launch box or multipart after. Hoping for the latter so we can at the very least have a head option. Stormboyz would make sense to come before 11th if that kill team rumour turns out true. If so, Zagstruk might come back at the end of 10th rather than with the launch and refresh, just like Snikrot did. Badrukk could show up at any time. Grotsnik might show up alongside his "Stitchboyz" which have been mentioned in the recent codexes and seem like a prime candidate for a new unit. Might even come in the launch box. And If we're really lucky, plastic Grot Tanks, and maybe even a plastic Kill Krusha

Orks were my first army, and Space Wolves are my favourite 1st founding, but I think Ranvenguard, Iron Hands, or Blood Angels would be better suited based where the story is. Although I understand, it’s all based off of sales and politics, not logic in a given story or narrative.

Hope of orks are the next big campaign Ryza gets involved at some point. Be especially cool if we got a named character from there.

I do see new Njal, probably new Canis (if he's not dropped) no new Fenrisian wolves or Ulrik, but def Wolf Guard Termies, blood Claws & Grey Hunters.. Not even sure that Logan is getting updated, as he's on his chariot.

If they did a wolves and orks box, I would buy it. They should take Logan Grimar out of his sled. A new Njal would be great as well. I am not a fan of the Arjac Rockfist model, so I hope they do a new one. A new Ulrik the Slayer in a new dynamic pose would be good too.

I actually 100% agree: the Orks have always been the "prelude to the REAL threat" narratively. They have fun characters, fun lore, fun units, but they're almost ALWAYS overshadowed by some other big bad coming in. Having a new great Ork empire would be just what they need to elevate them to the same existential threat level of Chaos, of the Nids

For the fate of Armageddon I would actually make it a player decide with the tabletop. Have the big narrative split in 2 parts, part 1 players play winners get added and this goes on for a number of month. We have to stop because the season of Fire happens in story in during that break GW finishes calculations and gets part 2 which is a more regular set narrative. Imperium vs Orks vs Chaos vs Necrons.

And even War of the Beast in 30k was bigger for Orks, since Prime Orks, Beast and Ork evolving to the degree of having diplomats speaking fluent Gothic appeared back then. So Orks aren't there at the stage yet. And Orks empire isn't anything new, they actually exist in the current 40k, just not to the degree of Beast Era or Great Crusade.
