Good video and thanks for your effort in producing it! I completely agree with your assessment of the sliding miter fence. Bought mine at Busy Bee, in On Can, and am very disappointed (pretty much with what you've stated in this video)!

I have the same sliding table on my king saw, and have the same problems you pointed out, what I did to find square quicker was made a base that mounted in the 2 t-tracks and was squared to the fence.

I mounted mine on the outside of the solid wing extension. That moved the sliding component further away from the blade It works just as well as having the sliding unit closer to the blade and gives more support for large sheets. SEAN

I thought about it, I still have the left wing, but I'm not sure that let the sliding table so far from the sawblade. If you look at European combination saw the sliding table is just beside the blade.

Save a lot of time and wood if you used the square and dial method for calibration

Nice work. Would a cross cut sled have been cheaper and also not have all the obstacle protrusions ?

Cheaper yes. Obstacle no more. But I couldn't cut 4x8 sheet of plywood with it. I mostly use my cross cut sled for panels not wider than 18 inches, pass that I use this sliding table.

Hi Alain! How long of a plywood can you cut using the sliding panel? I mean if you pull the panel back to it's maximum extent, what is the distance between your slider fence and the blade?

You mentioned the slot is just a little too big for "standard size tee track" which is 3/4" wide. Lee Valley has a little larger size at 7/8 width that might work for you.

It's sold under King Industrial here in Canada you can find it a several places here's the first one I found federatedtool.com/king-industrial-sliding-table-attachment-kst-101/?gclid=CjwKCAjwpuajBhBpEiwA_ZtfhUVAvoQud0ckI-bPO1f_ha8X7yOzWJ_ecRoveWMmH_bwLDAeTdd1OBoC-fwQAvD_BwE but it was also sold by Grizzly tool under this number T10223 but I was unable to find a retailer or even on Grizzly website

You have lots to learn hahahah...I have the same sliding attachment as you. I setup my sliding table under 10 seconds with dead on accuracy hahaha 99.999 square. Your saw is not is square to your sliding attachment haha. That why it takes you 19 cuts to get it square.
