NOT A SPOILER. "The world 5" all have different 1st languages, they use English as the common ground language to speak to each other because that's the only language they all know collectively. Hence the different accents and it all sounding cool/funny. (At least to my knowledge, I may be incorrect).

I liked how he explained how luck works. The ball fell to Rin because he kept moving. If he'd stopped like everybody else did who knows who would have gotten it. By moving he put himself in a spot where the ball could find him. Not necessarily where it would fall 100%

This is my favorite episode for one reason. Luck. It was the deciding factor, and one you can bitch about on ends. But, Ego's explination of luck basicly says "You whine and whine, but luck could happen to anyone. If you were in that spot, you would have gotten lucky instead of Rin. Luck is equal to everyone, it just comes to who stands in the place it will drop"

I agree dub does sound cringe. But each to their own, some prefer sub, others dub. Personally I always prefer watching X show in the language it's supposed to be. Aside from that, sub doesn't sound like script reading and has more emotion in it.

Yeah, That was so ridiculous. It's a hive mentality, pure and simple. You constantly listen to the buzz that dub is bad, is cringe, that you just go along with it. Even though they were speaking English, somehow even the Japanese voice actors were still better than the English voice actors. Brain washing at it's finest!!

There's no way that anyone can sit there and honestly say that the English voice actors speaking English were cringe but the Japanese voice actors weren't. When he said that, I have to admit, that I was a little bit disappointed in him. I lost a bit of respect but it is what it is. I'll still watch his reactions. Damn, even when speaking English the dub community gets no respect. Lol
