Call me old-fashioned, I'm a mother too and if she love's her child more than life, then stay at home and YOU bring up your child because sending them to a childminder who usually has about four in their care at once, your child is not getting nearly the same care as if you were doing it! These parents who can't stand to spend all or most of their time with their children, shouldn't have bothered having children!

Burning oil and fossil fuels has literally NOTHING to do with the climate ever so slightly changing.. it's the Milankovitch cycle and is ENTIRELY out of our control. These people are absolute fools with a an idea that's flawed even at face value, explain to me how a gas.. can form a magical "blanket" which some how lets all the suns heat through to the planet.. and then blocks it all in.. it's a gas for fucks sake.. it doesn't even make sense.

The west is a hot mess and so dysfunctional that South American countries, Middle Eastern countries , places in Africa and India don't want any thing to do with our woke democracy and are beginning to make pacts with China and Russia .

In the 70's when I was in my late 20's I was married with 1 child, I worked in London & only earning £25 a week but had a mortgage, I was a poorly paid graphic artist yet my wife took 10 years off work to look after our children. Today both parents have to work & pay rediculous sums of money for child care. This is crippling young people especially as we have inflation out of control and huge increases in mortgages. This has all been engineered is causing great harm

I love being at home with my mother before starting school. Every day was fun, so much taught to me, not just schooling. She had friends and relatives to morning tea, we went walking, met neighbours…so much to do. And every morning I listened to kindergarten of the Air (no TV in those days) which i really missed when I started school. AND we didn’t have sex education, that was our parents business.

we had TV and Radio in the morning Usually just radio as the house was rushing from school/work. Sex education was in grade 7 by that time we knew via parents/word of mouth. Also I WORKED AS A KID WHERN I WAS 16!

@@damiencrossley7497 I’d forgotten that we could work under the age of 25 (😂), I used to babysit from the age of 15. People were allowed to leave school at 14, they normally went into an apprenticeship, male and female. In those days there were only two sexes.

There is no numbers that's why.. it's all lies, these aren't the hottest ever recorded temperatures at all, and there isn't this magical co2 "blanket" keeping all the heat in as they like to say.. a gas that somehow lets the suns heat in.. then won't let it back out.. it's a gas for fucks sake, it doesn't enforce a strict one way policy. And if it could stop heat from escaping, it would also stop heat from getting in which means the effect would be cooling the earth, not warming it. The ever so slight change in our climate is caused by the Milankovitch cycle, it's been happening for millions of years and will continue to do so both warming and cooling the earth as it always has, we cant change the course of earths orbit.. it's something life on this planet has always survived and adapted to, not this apocolyptic thing they make it out to be, otherwise humans wouldn't even be alive to begin with, nor would animals, insects, or plant life..

Thanks to Mike, I switched from ecotricity to British gas. I am in a rental and landlord tried to say I wasn't allowed to switch, took him to court and he gave in.

We went to Death Valley in a July. We stayed in a hotel there and it was empty. The guy in charge asked us why we were there in July because it was so hot and we explained that was the reason why. It maxed out around 40 C. You had signs telling you to turn off the ac when going up hills. We walked on the dunes and my wife took a picture. The film crinkled up due to the heat. It was so dry that we didn't notice that we were dehydrating and got severe headaches.

Bear in mind if you dont have children, its other peoples children that will be working, generating revenue, paying into the system to fund your pension, healthcare and care, will be the people who will be your plumber, mechanic, bus driver, refuse collector, doctor, nurse, pharmacist, shop worker, wharehouse worker, delivery driver, IT support, build your mobile phine and computer, TV, food production...so whilst other people are bearing the cost, time and effort, you will be a beneficiary.

How about going to where more and more coal plants are being added; where highways and gas stations are being added for all of the new cars expected to be driven. At the very least have the JSO each stopped buying anything made in China, including food processed in China? That would slow the consumption of new coal factories or new oil drilling for consumption in China.

I’m Canadian and live in Alberta where there is always wildfires, most caused by the public’s carelessness. However, this year it was worse, and funnily enough many of these fires were started at the same time (this is not a natural occurrence). Our Premiere is having arson experts look into this. Also, on our weather forecasts we are issued with heat warnings for temperatures of 26 degrees Celsius which is just the normal temperature for summer, we also often get up to the plus 30 degrees. This has been the norm in the almost 50 years I have lived here. We also get to minus 20 to 30 degrees in the winter on occasion. I do think the climate is changing but it has always changed and we should develop the expertise to deal with it and not act like total loons as it will change again and we will all be getting cold warnings when we reach minus 10.

There is no climate crisis, however there is a climate crisis crisis. Our planet is in rude health. It's green where it was once brown and there are full bellies where once there was famine. As for Vince, what is the difference between him funding a movement that furthers his business interests and an oil company doing the same? You may say that his heart is in the right place but nevertheless it's still wrong.
