I found Luke’s suffering in this video to be very relatable

World at War will always be my favourite Call of Duty game, it portrayed World War 2 perfectly while being an emotionally filled thrill at the same time from start to finish. Not to mention it's what started off the Zombies mode and series as a whole, I'll never forget this game, it's just fantastic. Veteran Difficutly Grenade spamming and sometimes janky A.I companions aside of course, you absolutely destroyed it, enjoyed every minute, bless you for going through this.

Make this a series with all the cods and see how little deaths you can get 😂

"Who shot me?" -Basically every old CoD veteran campaign (since the newer CoD games don't tend to have campaigns)

Holy SHIT. After going through that campaign with waves of enemies, one shot snipers, and a fucking hailstorm of grenades yet managed to have less deaths than the black ops campaign. I'd be a huge liar to say that a regular gamer does that shit! Well Done Mate... Well Done!

11:30 sometimes on Veteran difficulty, enemies will be downed and drop a grenade before they die. So that guy that you had shot but not killed had dropped a grenade then proceeded to bleed out

One thing that I haven’t seen anyone talk about yet on waw veteran that PISSES me off is how your teammates will get in your way either bumping into you while you’re aiming down sights messing up your shot or will get in your way when you’re running to cover from gunfire or the endless grenades thrown at you cause you took cover for 2 seconds to try regen your health 😭😭😭

6:06 You don’t need to use those turrets, just hold onto the bazooka you use midway through the level. Fill it back up with ammo before you move on. You should be able to take out at least two tanks with it, but if you run out of ammo, need to take out the third, or you just already dropped it, you can leave the line and run back to the trench where the bazooka infinitely respawns and just refill it or pick it up again. I’m also pretty sure you only need to destroy two tanks to trigger the planes and end the mission

Here's some tips to get through Call of Duty World At War in Veteran mode: 1. If you ever take cover, look at the sky. You'll see enemy grenades flying at you and their trajectory. With this, you can anticipate the grenade blast zone and fling them back to the enemy with better accuracy. 2. Always pay attention to your compass. Locate and pinpoint enemy positions safely from the cover before shooting them. 3. Never get far from your allies. Although sucks at shooting, your allies provide an infinite meatshield you can safely cower behind from enemy bullets. Furthermore, they know how to react against enemy grenades. 4. Stay away from the frontline. The enemy won't spam grenades at you if you're far enough to outrange them. 5. Ever tried firing from the hip in close-quarter battle?

If I had to say myself COD WAW would be my hardest Vetran playthrough with COD BO Cold War being the easiest by miles, practically impossible to die over 50 times in that on Vet or Realism

I tried getting platinum on this game back in the day, and for the life of me I couldn't beat the last campaign mission on top of the roof on veteran.

fyi you can change the fov on most old cod games using the console by pressing the ` key underneath escape for world at war the command is cg_fov 90 (or whatever other fov you want)
