They accepted Smeagol, who was who Gollum was before stealing the ring, but never called it his "precious" until he was Gollum. So I figure any canonical name for Mt Doom would get the judge's nod.

I said "Dagger" for Sting. I wonder if it would be accepted. Bilbo chose Sting because it was shorter and his size.

I was wondering how to answer this one I know for hobbit its a sword/short sword, but for a human and elf its a dagger. 🤔

She said Mordor, and not Mount Doom. I bet if Ken had said be more specific or she had more time she would have said the correct answer. Mount Doom is located in Mordor.

@@TheEvilCheesecake No, because I found it surprising that Jeopardy contestants knew so little about one of the most groundbreaking works of fiction ever created. I don’t know why you’re so mad. I know a lot about Middle-earth, as do millions around the world, and I also care deeply about “things that actually matter.”

Incorrect, sting and Mithral do show up until Rivendell. About 30+ minutes into the movie

Sting was the singer & bass 🔊 player for The Police 🚔 before embarking on a successful solo career. They sent a SOS to the world.
