The sword doesn't look like the Doom sword. He has a model swap mod that made it the literal Doom sword. It doesn't just look like it, it is. Many speedrun communities are okay with graphical mods as long as they don't make a game run different than originally. Since this game doesn't have game speed linked to frame rate it shouldn't be an issue. I know I've seen Sonic speedruns for example with modded music. Sadly the funniest video I saw I can't find anymore. Seems to be lost media.

I think Model Replacement mods Should be in more Speed runs IT doesn't effect the game it just makes it more Interesting to look at really

well modded audio is a huge no no as audio is extremely important for verifying runs especially in sonic communities but doesnt mean people cant do a speedrun with modded music ofc

@@InvisibleHole well the one speedrun communities have more disgust with are people removing music. People found out that some older games actually have less slowdown without music so some games it's just straight not allowed for that purpose. Again, it's mostly old NES-N64 games that is shunned upon. Sonic Adventure and Adventure 2 runs seem to do it alot and I even saw a Sonic 3 run as well. Likely because the game already has 2 different default soundtracks and if you play on AIR you get up to like 4 so changing the music shouldn't really change much. As I said, very game dependent. But older games are far less likely to allow it.

@@chopperplays7972 it was a really long run as it was an Adventure 2 180 emblem run. Remember when looking it was one of only 3 runs for obvious reasons the run takes an eternity. Will never forget replacing Live and Learn for the final boss with a karaoke version sung by someone so drunk they started making up lines and just yelling stuff like "Yeah Sonic WOOO!" That was great. I also know of a GDQ run of Sonic 3 AIR they made the final boss be the big chungus song. Funny how it was even timed perfectly with the boss showing on screen.

Well Activision rushed treyarch at BO4 and BOCW. They had 3 years to make BO3 and weren't being rushed to make a battle royale game.

One small thing, the final abh to the bossfight is a guarenteed abh as a way to prevent players from teleporting out of the boss room during the fight.
