I live in the subtropical swamps of the Southeast US, this place seems like a hell to me! We rarely get temperatures cold enough for water to freeze here during the dead of winter and even if we do, it’s never for more than a few hours at a time before we thaw back out SOMEWHAT.

I made a Russian “pen pal” over Omegle when I was just around 15 years old. I am 24 years old now and we still talk from time to time. While I have to say she is a very gorgeous woman, I’ve enjoyed many genuine talks with her. (There has never been any weird/romantic stuff to it which has always been refreshing). I have been impressed all these years at how she speaks better English than 90% of the Americans I’ve chatted with. I wish it was easier to make friends from all over the world, we have gotten to learn a lot from eachother. I hear many Americans hating on Russians for no reason, but I will say; when the war with Ukraine broke out it was incredible to hear a Russian citizens side of the story, very different from what we hear is going on. Much love to all the Russian people out there who don’t hate based on a government’s actions, we are all just people living day by day who have little to nothing to do with what those in power decide on. I would love to visit one day.
