Home of the International Car Forest of the Last Church and about 250 people, Goldfield Nevada is considered a "Living Ghost Town'.
Thank you to Mark Rippie for creating the wonderful Car Forest and also to the very kind residents of Goldfield that I had the privilege of speaking with. I hope this place is well protected for many years to come.

This gives the "Cadillac Ranch" on Route 66 in Texas a bit of competition, well done and entertaining video as always Trooper. Edit: Your drone piloting and footage is very impressive.

I stopped by there on my way to Tonapah in October 2022. My buddy and I stomped around there for a couple of hours then spent the rest of the day like you did, drove down practically ever street in Gold Field looking at old houses and the rest of the neat old stuff. I hitchhiked thru there as a teenager back around 1979. I went there to see about working in the copper mine, the guard shack was as far I could go.

thank you again for taking us along 😊 i love these kind of places.i saw a place in northern? Nevada right off the freeway where some one went crazy with concrete and found junk and built this huge building thing . concrete dementia they call it .. take care n stay safe 😎

WOW!!! Another type of goldmine in Goldfield!!! There are so many sweet rides there!!! That Dodge van that you discovered was very similar to my Dad's 68 A108. His was a 225 slant 6 with a 3 on the tree where as this one was a V8. If it was the factory V8, it would have been a 273 or 318. Looks like this one was automatic. Win win!!! The massive car on top of the Chevy/GMC panel truck is a Chrysler airport car or maybe family car for funeral home since it has 8 doors. RARE and cool!!!

I'd be more impressed if they weren't tagged. 9:52 early 60s Ford Falcon, 70s Mecury after that. 1:38 70s Chrysler Custom Suburban wagon, no relation to the Chevrolet Suburban. Thanks for the tour Trooper! 🤠👍 Excellent reverse drone vid!

That international that was missing the steering and that amc eagle are valuable vehicles right now,that 79 mustang is valuable too.there is a lot of desirable rigs there

Love this place! We had a lot of fun on the walking tour, check that out sometime. So much good history in the guide we still haven't made it to all the spots yet. Talk of the town is there is going to be another gold rush here soon... mine is going active in the area again and they just re-routed the highway. Supposed to to get a gas station soon as well (big deal out in this remote area!) Enjoyed the video 👍 nice work!

Are you in a location that may be affected by Hurricane Hilary? I used to live halfway between Houston and Galveston and had to evacuate twice for hurricanes. Now I live just a hair north of Dallas and have to watch out for tornadoes. I prefer the hurricanes because you have days and days of advance notice and can get out of the way. Stay safe out there.

6 hours of freeway in a 30 year old rig with mud tires, 4.56 gears and oil leaks didn't sound too promising 😄

@Scrap Metal Garage Yeah man lol, that's the factory gearing on these, and only 175 hp. It's pretty violent on road trips.
