The World’s largest sportfisher “Special One” had a first day of sea trials today. The 52m/ 171ft yacht, formerly known as Project 406, came from the drawing boards of Vripack and was built by Royal Huisman in Vollenhove. Saw it today looked an old retro 1980s sport fishing boat definitely looks useless for any decent seas 👍 especially when the wind gets up 😂

People screaming top-heavy have absolutely no idea of naval architecture. You should see the build plan, that will show you that there is a lot more hull under the waterline. With a draft of 2.05m . Next to that the sloped design ( seen in a lot of warships )keeps most of the weight close to the water. This will be more stable than your grandma on her walker.

smaken verschillen, ik vind het een prachtige boot. gemaaakt voor een doel waar niet iedereen fan van is dat is waar. als de eigenaar er maar blij mee is daar gaat het om. Hij geeft waarschijnlijk niks om de mening van iemand op een youtube filmpje. lol
