Here in the US, there's a company called Carvana that does car vending machines. They really lean into the whole bit, though. Once you've paid for the car, you're given a large metal token, that's around the size of a drink coaster. You drop the token into a slot on the vending machine to retrieve your car.

Nothing beats a bag of chips and a coke from a vending machine in my opinion.

The prime was probably so expensive because it was imported into the country. I’m pretty sure it’s only naturally available in stores in the US, Canada, and a few European countries.

All of those prime flavors are even cheaper in the states right now my local supermarket has them for the sane price as Arizona tea.

That makes the gold from the vending machine work out to SPD 159,- (USD 117,40)/gram for the 2g bars, and the SPD 650,- (USD 479,92) items at 5g each work out to about SPD 130,- (USD 95,98)/gram. You can clearly see the mark-up in convenience here! 🏆💸😉 As a guide to inflation and where the economy's going, I keep half an eye on UK gold pricing. Around two months ago street price was about GBP 63,-/g (USD 78.75, assuming USD 1.2500 per GBP) so it looks like even Singapores bullion market has a hefty markup to it! 🙃 At a guess; The smart money in Singapore probably buys it in other markets where there's less markup (Most national mints tend to offer bullion for sale online to clients worldwide) and these machines are more aimed at the well-heeled tourist.
