Za Warudo's time stop effect is still my favorite even after Part 5. The circle distortion that came out and close in really fitting for a stand that called The World. Can't wait to see how DP will make MiH effect for part 6.

idk if this was intentional, but i love how in moments like 0:17 where The World is activated but we don't know it's power yet, we only get this kind of subdued _bomm_ sound but around 0:38, where it's revealed and we finally get to see it fully in action, every time-stop afterwards (even the ones where we dont see the stopped time, like 2:26) is now much more powerful and intense

If you think about it during that first scene Dio would have to stop time, carry Polneraff down the stairs then go back up and get in the same position. Same with the guy in the car. It just seems so much work to be so extra, that's why I love Dio.

The sound of Time stop of the world and Star Platinum is actually the same in part 3(it was shown after Jotaro kicked Dio in his legs), they just decided to change the time stop noise in part 4.

It's weird that this is still the most powerful-sounding Stand in terms of sound design, especially that low rumble it makes just from moving. King Crimson and Killer Queen sound intimidating too, but it's more like a sinister malevolent kind of vibe than just balls-out horsepower.

It mirrors Diavolo's personalities, quite frankly as Doppio, he's timid, extremely fragile and docile when angered, his split personality as Diavolo comes out with raw, unprecendented strength and an ability to control time in a way that completely fucks with his opponent's mind. Dio, however, is the scourge of the Joestar bloodline, who had the patience and persistence to wait beneath the ocean for an entire century, set future events into motion, and further evolve his own strength Which is reflected in The World's appearance, sound design and the fear it instilled into the Crusaders, namely Polnareff, Joseph and Kakyoin. -- side note in regards to King Crimson's sound design; it progressively becomes more and more distorted as you watch the later half of Part 5, as a sign of his building frustration and anger towards Bucciarati's gang discovering more and more about him

Y’know, DIO is nuts in terms of how smart he is. He always experiments, thinks and then devises a plan. Only once have we seen him go all out, considering he actually went insane in the final half of the fight, with his confidence in The World and attempting to extend its time stop as much as possible inhibited his abilites. Everyone says that DIO from Part 6 is different from Part 1 / 3 Dio, but he is far from different. DIO is a calm and collected man when experimenting, but the moment he has you in checkmate he will go absolutely all out.
