I grew up in Minnesota and I thought I knew how big elm trees can get. I was amazed at the size of the elm you were cutting up. It is also downright gorgeous wood !!! Thanks for sharing this !!!

У 0,59 я падумаў, што рукі Вадзіміра ўздымаюцца, і ён выкарыстаў сваю нагу💪💪, каб дапамагчы піле рухацца!!😃 Дзіўна, як вы ўдваіх можаце зрабіць так, каб такая цяжкая праца выглядала лёгкай і веселай! Асабліва я смяяўся, калі Уладзімір пачысціў паветраны фільтр, а потым трохі пасыпаў пілавіннем, як шэф-кухар, запраўляючы смачны стейк! Hey , are you useing 1.6 chain with 404 sproket ? .... and did you buy it at 30 degrees and sharpened it to 10 .... or did you find it at 10 from factory ? ...

want to make your job more easy and more consistent clean cuts for even bigger logs, i would suggest to look up matthew cremona, he used to do the chainsaw milling until he build a big size sawmill and trailer to get the huge logs at his sawmill.. you guys seem able to build stuff like that, go for it i'd say!!

Mat Cremona saws for his own purposes. We provide a service and ride all over the country. The chainsaw is very mobile, so for us it is the best option

Still amazed (compliment) in seeing you use the aluminum ladder and extended chain saw blade cutting out these beautiful slabs. Still shame (alas !!!) in not seeing many others replanting new trees across the landscape - so that the land does not become a "desert forest" of nothing left growing for shade, lumber trees, nut trees, fruit trees, windbreaks, etc.

Trees cannot live for thousands of years. And sometimes you have to remove trees that could fall on a house or people. This elm was completely rotten from below

There are many tree planting efforts going on, there are a lot in the Denver area now.

@@davidhamm5626some federal (and state ?) programs have given cities (ours received $15M) to plant trees. Just said by city that they planted 77,000 (~$100 per tree) trees across our 100 square miles (10 miles x 10 miles) of city landscape. So hopefully this counters much of the asphalt jungles and heat islands of the city - as well as providing shade for parked cars in parking lots - and keep everybody and everything cool.

depending on the density of those woods - very possible to make into rod dowels, and then into wooden bullets - so much other steel and lead wasted on the battle field - might have to turn hardwoods into ammo !!! When will all the world crazies stop shooting each other, destroying everything all around, and then feel that they have righted a wrong when they have created more destruction - that any previous perceived damage done !!!
