Steph's facial expressions said it all. Yeah, for $100 I better get real ass silverware, and they're probably outsourcing the pastries. BTW, for my tea peeps, I know the bags are convenient (I use them too) but they're terribly wasteful. You brew, toss em in the trash, they go to a landfill and break down anaerobically, creating greenhouse gasses. Try to use loose tea whenever you can, then allow the leaves to dry & sprinkle em back on the earth. It's a little thing that could make a big difference if more people did it.

No refills is ROUGH. I hope that, in a couple of years, the place ends up being incredible and you’re going to WANT to drop $100. The last thing I want to see is a Mom and Pop place struggling…☹️☹️☹️.

As somebody from Scotland - I usually find high teas are always over priced for what you get but $100 is madness. Also - it looks grim and is an offence with the scone and tea…. Crazy stuff and not approved by a Scottish/British girl 🤮

For 100, I would have eaten *everything*, including the cardboard ware XD. I get the reason of cardboard ware if it was included in a takeout or pickup type situation b/c paper is biodegradable vs plastic, but... you guys were eating there. Silverware/metal is reusable, washable, etc, so I don't get why. It sounded like not a good time and I'm sorry to hear that. That said, I hope you guys keep trying to find a place you guys do enjoy. I enjoyed that piece of crumb being on Steph's nose and the soft focus-style final shot of her like Roxy mentioned 😁

A while back on one of the livestreams when you both mentioned going to a place that severely disappointed you, I thought you were talking about that Willy Wonka thing that turned out to be a nearly empty warehouse lol. Although, I just learned that was in Scotland, so that clearly wasn't it. This tea place is an absolute ripoff. They not only overcharge, but falsely advertise the whole experience. It's like they're trying to go out of business. I'm curious what Dorina would've said if she was there lol.
