This update is probably the buggiest update to EVER come out for Asphalt 8. And token upgrades are Gameloft plainly saying, "You MUST PAY to succeed in this game!" But no matter what happens, I'm going to continue on and show Gameloft what I can do without spending a cent >:D I love that backwards race XDD

It's sad because mobile games like this and candy crush are killing the gaming industry with microtransactions. Like AAA games that cost $60 and are supposed to full games are now half ass microtransactions milking shitfest. These practices are anti-consumer. Only f2p games should have microtransactions. And only cosmetics should be microtransactions.

Even if Gameloft wants me to help Matt get his new Koenigsegg, I will NOT dump one penny on this game.

Gameloft is focusing too much on profit and too little on the actual game itself, which can only have negative results. People play video games because they're fun, and having to spend hundreds of dollars to make progress is just plain stupid, and not fun whatsoever. This is pretty much 'How to Kill a Game 101'. However I hope this can be changed, and I think this petition is a good way to go. Good luck :)

This update makes the 2014 update where “premium cars” aka car pairs where you need to pay real money to get but are bad cars seem like a decent update.

It would be great if gameloft made it so after you've done a race once, that can be done as many times as u want afterwards like career or mastery races, that you could pick the number of laps that u do and earn credits times the number of laps that you do (like 6,000 credits per race, times 10 laps equals 60,000 credits) to make farming easier.

I think the Hotwheels update is going to be worse than that

My game still freezes in the Boosts section before ALL races. Sometimes for 10 seconds but it can last as long as 10 mins before I can play. I hate this update too.

I unlocked the class D bike too early! Now it says assemble now for 791 million tokens, it won't let me see if I own it, I should've screenshoted it when I had the chance! I hope I have the bike because now I have 0 cards for it it says I have zero cards :/ after I tried to assemble it.
