Miguels biggest nerf was to SAV db3, arguably his best move, which has reduced advantage on hit (and no longer forces crouch). Its +4 now meaning his i15 follow ups that had to be respected (e.g SAV uf3) can be jabbed out. Consensus from Mig mains is that he was overall nerfed, glaciating still looks great though

NDN KEN honestly one of the most flexible fighting games to get into. If you’re super casual you can enjoy it, and if you dedicate to getting better you’ll constantly get more and more into it as you progress and meet better players. Favorite fighting game for sure.

to answer the description: most of miguels moves can be sidestepped to the left (your left) + miguel has slow homing moves, so try to sidestep left more. watch out for when he enters SAV though since SAV 2 tracks to sidestep left and is now safe at -9 in season 3. also learn his frames. you can jab or down jab yourself out of most SAV transitions.

Miguel is my main, yet I always have trouble fighting a mirror match. His mix ups are scary, but my friend who beats the shit out of me just plays super defensively, low parrying any low I try to do, or just eating them to avoid mid launchers

Speaking of 1st tournaments...my friends went to a bar/night club downtown Ann Arbor and the club was hosting a tekken tournament in the basement floor and displayed it on the TVs upstairs 3 of my friends stumbled on the tournament 2 lost immediately but one of my boys won the whole thing while the rest of my friends were watching up stairs wondering where he was to tell him about this player whoopin everybody...so when they finally run into him they were like "aw you missed it this dude whooped everybody in tekken where have you been?" He laughed and said..."whoopin everyone I just won a tournament randomly " 😂😂😂

I main miguel and I can say playing him you have to be abnormally patient with openings. He aint a ten hit combo machine. He's more of a three hit brutal damage type. Poke low, poke low, then when an opportunity comes, two to three brutal highs.

It’s refreshing to see you lose once in a while. It doesn’t make your opponent better than you, but it makes me feel better about losing once in a while when I’ve been practicing since Tekken was released on PSOne. You also don’t learn anything new when you constantly win.

The risk reward ratio on that right hook that Miguel does seems too good. You get good damage if it hits and pushback and not a lot of negative frames from what it looks like if it's blocked.

Most online players are at the level of pros or may be higher but lack mental toughness. If they play in a tournament most will crumble under pressure. This is what sets pros apart from rookies.

Plasma Sword Good luck learning Tekken, it’s a time-consuming process depending who you’re playing as. Jin is a fairly difficult character to play as so I grinded my time playing as him in treasure battles until I reached Tekken God Prime. I still suck at him though but at least I’m comfortable playing now that I learnt his moves my own way

Nathan24-_- the thing about Jin is he is super good, but he doesn’t have great flowcharts for new players. He is pretty much all reads and prediction, learning what move to use and where to try to place it. Requires good defense and solid fundamentals. I just hit genbu with him recently and Christ it was one hell of a grind.

It’s just something you have to force on yourself, especially when playing a character as weak a lee currently is. If your just starting it may be better to try to learn another character to improve your fundamentals. Not only is lee not very good right now, he’s also extremely difficult. I’m not saying don’t play him, but it might ease some frustration if you pick up a side character that’s easier and better to help blow of steam and improve your general skill level.

Hey guys and lil majin I'm still a beginner I main devil jin and it's going really well learning him despite the execution I've learnt a lot of good combos and moves with him my movement is still donkey but truthfully I want to main yoshi cause he's always been my favourite since T1 which even at the age 19 currently I was blessed to be able to play but does anyone have an opinion on playing yoshi and what to expect cause I'm creative and I like to play around troll sometimes and yoshi just has so many gimmicks I love it I also live in South Africa and would like to compete in tournaments as a yoshi.

Because if you just crouch 24/7 your going to either get launched over and over or put in an inescapable hell of mids. Crouching is one of the most dangerous things you can do in tekken

High lvl players consider it to "unsafe" to crouch block anything but low launchers on reaction so they pretty much always get hit by fast lows which add up. Honestly it's a huge weakness for them. So if you are fighting a higher rank (red and above) throw fast lows in they pretty much will always get hit if you aren't predictable. Remember kids it's only unsafe if they block it. If they never do then it's safe no matter the move. Same goes for moves that go unpunished.

People don’t understand. It’s better to lose pre tournament and make the adjustments. The guy you see winning isn’t learning the other guys technique

So what? That miguel player probably doesn't even play tournament, so all he care is winning the online match. More importantly, how did you know that he doesn't even learn a thing about his opponent? just because he win?

@@fransiskusstefanus2110 you contradicted yourself because he does do tourneys, you just don't have that much knowledge around the Tekken community. If you win there's no reason to adapt or learn outside of what you already know.
