I'm fully aware the animation is a blockout. I still find it funny how this animation is still present in an *open beta* when the full release is only *weeks* away. @@therealsaucyboi224 There were a ton of different spray paint logos in 2019. And you could spray them on ANYTHING, claymores, spray teammates to hide them, spray fake people on the wall. I'd always spraypaint a friendly camper/sniper and coat the wall next to them, so they blend right into the open.

What's also cursed is the copied and pasted optics from Vanguard in modern weapons, and the fact you can use the real ACR stock on the CZ Bren, but not on the ACR. It boils my blood

MW2019 saved COD generally speaking and warzone as well, MWII was really bad but why should IW have to make a good cod again if CW and VG were dogsht? just saying

I find it funny because I recently tried out CoD mobile and found out that it exists under a different name, but it's just 1:1 the same gun, including the same attachments and shit animations. I loved it in cw though.

I’ll explain this from a game dev and animator perspective: The keyframes are set up before the jiggle and realistic curves are applied to the animation. This is simply the first pass before the animator goes into the “curve” phase of the animation, just to get the movement of the gun and the hands into the right place on the screen.

Truly a Sledgehammer Games moment right here. I'm going to assume this is because it's a Beta, CoD Vanguard had similar issues in its Beta (like the infamous "Using a modern Pistol in a Finishing Move") and basically had those issues fixed by release (even though that game had different issues, if you know what I mean lol), same for Cold War... Now if this issue (and others) are not fixed by release, then OH BOY this is going to be fun.

@@shotop2116 the problem is not that specific animation being bad, look at the bigger picture, if they're willing to have that in the game, then what other "goofs" and "mistakes" could they have on the full game? Because they could've easily just not have inspection enabled for that gun instead of leaving that "animation" there. Now, again, this was a Beta after all, so hopefully it was simply a mistake to leave it there and won't be there on the full release.

I don't know, I think the Kiparis is perfectly serviceable compared to othee rough anims (Galil in CW has a broken mag that is animated at like, half framerate, I think it's inspection anim is also a little jank too)

for the weapon of MW3, it may be like a "placeholder" you know, in Cold War leaked alpha there's a lot of animations that are robotic, but it'll be fixed in the final game (fortunately) ;)

If the Kiparis animation in Cold War was never redone, then I guarantee that this won't be either. Activision has been milking the CoD franchise for years now, without putting any effort in to make the games actually good and finished. You really should stop getting your hopes up for these newer CoD games. You'll just end up disappointed each and every time a new one comes out.

Feels like this is either misaligned with the skeleton of the weapon and soldier or it’s not the animation that’s supposed to be released.

When they release betas they tend to use older builds that can't have the game files ripped through so I bet this has already been sorted and is just left in an older build of the game
