Worst feeling on a motorcycle besides looking back and wondering if something is wrong with your wingman that is not behind you, is seeing the curve and realizing you have a catastrophic brake failure...... and too much speed and so little brake..... ( managed a save with skids and a leg on the ground and one whiggling) Made me maintain my bike religiously afterwards.....

@@koopspook Riding the bike on track and road, and considering only road use for scheduling maintenance :))..... Fair to say that brake fluid needs changing faster, and brake pads might need some deglazing after a serious track day.... Oil and pads were 1 track day away from being absolutely useless (but worked great on track), and then going up the twisties with engine break only, but down you just wanted to do a fast line and then you realize you have 0 brakes...... Made me question my sanity for a while.

I broke a clutch cable on my first bike which was a Honda 1976 CB750F back in like 86-87 ish. That was an experience lol ,and I had to call the Calvary to come get my bike :( but luckily I had a bro who was johnny on the spot for that kind of thing.

My clutch cable snapped on my 2012 CBR1000 2 years ago.. Luckily I wasn’t going very fast when it happened and the bike was very easy to shift up and down without the clutch. No quick shifter though. But Old Cables Will Snap. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I sprung my clutchline which i just replaced on my 1993 cbr1000f. Tore from fitting to fitting, new OEM part. Made me go down cause all the fluid went on the rear tire. Insurance gave me 200 euros and totalled the bike ofcourse, but didn't increase my rate since a mechanic backed me up telling them it wasn't my fault.

Those 3-4 days of 100f+ a couple summers ago, were absolutely brutal. Every day was another record breaking temperature. That was insane. I can't imagine anyone riding in that weather around this part of WA.

Just moved from northern New Mexico. Even in the winter, I still found a way to ride, basically every week, even when it only got up to around 45 or 50, and that was only for an hour or two. I've never understood most places that have a "riding season". Maybe like Chicago or Detroit or something but anywhere with a even decent climate.....just go do the thing.

i rode in reno all this winter, except for when there was slush on the ground of course and that was always just a few days at a time. The rest of the time even after i put handguards on my bike I could only rip around for 30 minutes. I'd shove my gloves and hands on the engine to warm em up and back to ripping again 😂i hated when it was 15 degrees but mostly it was 20s and 30s

Bro, I had this exact same thing happen to me around 4 months ago now on my KTM. The ball snapped off the cable and was stuck in the clutch lever😂😂. Then I had to push my bike home luckily it was like 15mins away. Learnt the hard way for not keeping up with general maintenance on my bike.😂

I can attest to getting a stye from riding. my first helmet had no chin skirt and was super open, some debris flew up and in my eye with my visor closed and resulted in an eye infection as well as two styes after. never had them before and now have had two in that eye.
