Most people have to realize Global teams especially Real Madrid and in this case Arsenal being in London, their fans in these huge games in the champions league or vs City for the league are huge touristic pulls. Therefore half the people there are not so used to the stadium, fans, chants, etc. Also a lot of them support different clubs and are there for the occasion
@yannick2456 ай бұрын
It's sad if your homeground became a tourist attraction! But I witnessed the same at Camp Nou, in Barcelona. But since the stadium is so huge _(and will be even bigger after the renovations),_ there was always enough space for tourists, like myself. The Camp Nou also always had the _"problem'"_ of a missing roof. With the renovations the whole stadium is going to have a rooftop. I just hope it will get finished on time. Not like the New Mestalla at Valencia. Real managed to renovate the Santiago Bernabeu during the running the seasons.

Okay, the match had already started and I bought the tickets from a guy on the street/in front of the stadium. During these days the average attendance was much lower than today! In 14/15, it was at an all-time low with a 36,000 average attendance. I'm happy that these days are over. But Italy really needs to be a host of the EUROs, in the near future. Or just doing something about the current stadium situation. By now, only Juve took the step of building their own state-of-the-art stadium. If you died TODAY, where would you be spending eternity? Have all your sins been forgiven or are you still hoping that you're a good enough person to earn a spot in heaven. The reality is that no one can earn a spot, our sin disqualifies us. But the God news is that Jesus paid for our qualification by dying on our behalf taking the punishment that we deserved. JESUS said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son; that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16 Nothing is more important than your eternal destination. Please, don't say, "When I get older I'll get right with God' or 'I'll get serious with Jesus one day when I'm ready.' Don't wait any longer, today is the day of salvation. Get right with God today, for tomorrow very well might be too late. We invite you to REPENT and accept that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life by praying this simple prayer out loud right now... 'Heavenly Father, I turn away from my old life and repent for my sins. I believe that Jesus came for me, that Jesus died for me and that Jesus rose again for me so that I can be forgiven and receive eternal life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, receive the gift of eternal life. The problem is the 'prawn sandwich brigade', as Roy Keane once so beautifully put it. These 'fans' are NOT fans, and are sitting in the seats of the TRUE fans, having paid an extortionate amount for a welcome drink, a programme, a brief visit from a former player, their seat, just a normal seat in the stadium, nothing special, and of course, some prawn sandwiches. These people are rich, entitled, and completely and utterly soulless, having little to no real love for their team, whilst the real fans all pack into the pubs outside and around the ground, to watch the games on dodgy streams! There, got that off my chest! 😡

If Juventus' fans aren't that loud and passionate It's because of the soxiety; we absolutely hate and they (THEY because I've never been to a football game even if I live 500 meters away from Juve's stadium) as I was saying they see this attitude during games as a protest...

Generally, from my experience as a Leeds fan going home and away in the prem and home and away in the championship, the 2nd division usually has better atmospheres as there are no tourists or plastics. Its full of people from the local area that don't support their team because they're good, but because they're representing their city, or they have personal connections to the club.

Leipzig fans are very underrated. Their fans were doing the poznan with the City fans when they were getting smashed 7-0

There may be no other team in BL where home and away support differ that much. At home, I'd even say, RB is kind of impressive. Considering the age of the club, they already make a lot of noise. And most of the city stands behind the club, which leads to an impressive average attendance. The away support, on the other hand, needs to grow. But those things naturally take time.
