People are going to disagree with me so bad bro they will hate me, but it’s my opinion. King of the monsters was not a good film I always liked 2014 but after I watched 2019 I had more respect for 2014. “ That explains your name and your profile.” So what it doesn’t mean that I don’t like the legendary era. It might not be my favorite, but even if it isn’t, it’s my opinion

My least favorite part of KOTM is the Oxygen Destroyer part. It's disrespectful to the creators of the 1954 version.

Hi there Barry_Is_H3r3. Love your video on Godzilla. Hope you get more likes and subs. I've been writing my own fan-fic version of Godzilla vs. Megalon. It's titled, It's called Godzilla vs. the Kabuton Brothers: The Undersea Kingdom's SOS Strategy. Instead of one, there are two Megalon's. Both are robot's representing Seatopia’s ancient guardians from long ago. I also changed Megalon from Kabuton because I felt this new name fits better. One of them causes a volcanic eruption and earthquake on Monster island, sending the monsters fleeing except for Godzilla. After a battle, Godzilla chases Megalon to Japan. Goro Ibuki and his younger brother Hiroshi Ibuki see the second Megalon after it drains the water from Lake Kitayama. Instead of being villain's, the Seatopian’s are victims of the nuclear tests and help Goro improve Jet Jaguar. I also improved and expanded on Seatopia's history and cut out the part about them being allies with the M Space Nebula aliens since it's never explained how they came to know each other. So no Gigan in my story. Sorry. I made Goro and Hiroshi brothers instead of friends in the movie. I also added in a new character such as Einus. She is a Seatopian princess who helps them against Ana, another Seatopian who is controlling the Megalon Brothers. In the film there was no given reason why JJ was created. But now there is. In a flashback, you learn that JJ was a project by Goro and Hiroshi's parents for the propose of fighting monsters until they are both killed during Gigan and King Ghidorah's rampage through Tokyo in Godzilla vs. Gigan. It's not the most original idea. You see it in other tokusatsu shows at that time, but what else are you going to do with a giant robot. Let it fight monsters, no duh! Jet Jaguar is later upgraded in the story as an advanced A.I. and can talk just like in the Godzilla SP anime. He has new abilities, ranging from a finishing move called the Plasma Beam he fires from his wrists when he crosses them in a X fashion. Jet Jaguar can also fire a taser-like attachment from is right arm and a deploy a pepper-spray from his left arm. To freeze his enemy’s, Jet Jaguar can shoot a liquid nitrogen spray from his mouth. So there! I just fixed the movie! What do you think? Do any of you have any ideas that can improve Godzilla vs. Megalon? Let me know by replying please.

I always said that King of the Monsters started out as Master of Puppets and midway through the movie turned into St. Anger.

Agree KOTM is an insulting film, peoples excuses for defending it is even more infuriating. And they even give Monarch Legacy of mo sters crap, sorry but that series blows KOTM out of the water into outer space.

Thank you for reminding me why I hated KotM on first watch. Every single fight is interrupted by humans escaping or interacting with the fight, and I was SO frustrated by it. That and the script and dialogue was fucking awful, the story SUCKED, but the biggest insult was when I marinated on the movie a bit further. I know many fans don't get this criticism I have, and maybe it's just because I don't explain clearly. But I think that nuclear radiation and a hydrogen bomb saving the day, in a Godzilla movie, is one of the most disrespectful things I've ever seen in the franchise.

I got to say I disagree on KOTM, but I absolutely respect your opinion, because you explain why and give actual valid points, unlike other people who just say they dislike the movie and give no explanation. Keep up the good work!

KTOM ruined all of momentum that G2014 had built up. I remember right before KOTM came out people I knew that never watched Godzilla movies were really excited for it. G2014 is a great film in its own right. When half the fandom complains that GVK and GXK took the Monsterverse in a silly direction I point out that KOTM determined the direction of the series. I keep seeing speculation of Destoroyah. Since Kong is now King of Hollow Earth we can get a Godzilla focused film. If its Destoroyah I want Gareth Edwards. And Guillermo Del Toro if it's biollante

I love Godzilla KOTM. But I think only because it was the first Godzilla film I've ever watched. It brings nostalgia to me but not just that it is a genuinely cool and great movie that contains a lot of action and horror (In my opinion) although I do see your points.

Look man to me as a Godzilla fan it still has to be in 1998 has to be the worst man if you’re not know, it’s that it was gonna be a better version than what we got like I’m legit serious like Godzilla was looking like his original appearance, but having a crocodile like scales and tails, and he was going to fight the monster, but then it was basically hell for the production of it like serious here like none the Director who made independence day ask Patrick to re-design Godzilla, so they make him into like this goofy looking T-Rex like serious here and not look like Godzilla. It looks like a Tyrannosaurus rex, but looks ugly like a mother could love like it have like a massive chin well based on of sheer Kahn from jungle book series in all seriousness, yeah Godzilla 1998 it’s a shit show. Like they got almost close to make a better Godzilla movie, but somehow it was in developed hell like luck I would rather just bring back the 1994 version of Godzilla, the unmade American one like it’s kind of sad that we did not get this idea like it would could be better than this piece of crap just saying

*Sorry for the long comment* KOTM is personal one of my favorite Godzilla movies, but even if I didn't like it, I doubt I will think of it as the worst Godzilla movie of all time when Godzilla: The Planet Eater exists. That is, I think, the only movie that I have ever watched that I genuinely hate. I still remember the day when it dropped on Netflix in January 2019 and I watched. Wasn't a fan of the first two entries in the anime trilogy, but I didn't think they were that bad just boring 5/10 experiences. But man, after I watched The Planet Eater I was just in a disbelief at how terrible it was. At least with other bad Godzilla movies like All Monsters Attack or if we conseeder KOTM as one, there at least have few minutes that are good for one reason or another. But The Planet Eater is just suffering from start to finish. The only positive thing in the movie for me (if you would consider it one) is when *SPOILERS* the main character just killed himself at the end, which made me laugh for like 5 straight minutes. In the years after it came out I have watched like 3-4 times (only because I was marathoning a bunch of Godzilla movies each time, otherwise I wouldn't have watched it on its own) and my opinion hasn't changed at all. My opinion did changed on the other two movies in the anime trilogy (surprisingly I'm more positive on them now than back when they came out, not by much, but still more positive), but The Planet Eater is as terrible in 2023 as it was in 2019.

Okay Barry_Is_H3r3, look I respect your opinion on Godzilla King of the Monsters, and why you dislike the movie so much, but I still think that Godzilla 2014 has some serious problems. I will make a list of 5. 5. The MUTOS are just a exact copy and paste of the Cloverfield monster with a small bit of alteration. 4. The Acting is Dull and Boring, the Characters get to much screentime, and Bryan Cranston is the only one who gives a great performance. Now you can argue that the main character is in the military and many of them don't get emotionally hardened. But I don't care, when they see giant monsters they should look scared, not bored. 3. Godzilla is a good guy, now this is a huge problem. Godzilla is not supposed to be a good guy, the trailer clearly shows us many times that Godzilla is here to destroy the city. 2. Godzilla is only on screen for 5-10 minutes, the movie splits his scenes so he only appears on screen for a few seconds. Oh and the TV scene you were talking about? Sure I do agree with you on you're opinion on it, but this is still a problem. The TV scene interrupted a big fight that was going to happen just to show it on a television screen. 1. This movie is nowhere near as good as Godzilla Minus One. Godzilla Minus One gets everything right, it has everything a fan could want from a Godzilla Movie. It has a great story, it has great and memorable characters who I actually felt for throughout the film's runtime, Godzilla's design was amazing, sure he didn't have that much screentime, but what he does during his runtime is absolutely amazing. The action scenes are all so good. Even when the movie cuts down to the humans, their are points where you can see both the humans and the monster at the same time. Some of the action scenes are short, but overall you get plenty of action scenes where Godzilla fights the military and destroys the city, and when we reach the end, you get a great final battle between Godzilla and the Military. Godzilla King of the Monsters Improved on 5 things from the 2014 Godzilla movie. 5. We get the more iconic monsters like Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan. 4. The human characters are not great, but they are at least able to emote like normal human beings. 3. There are more action scenes in the movie. We get the first one very early on, and the rest kept on coming at a nice and comfortable pace. 2. Even when the movie cuts from the monsters to the humans, it either doesn't happen as often as it did in the 2014 Godzilla movie, or their are points were you can see the humans and the fight at the same time. 1. Got to agree with you on kotm. So incredibly bad. Godzilla still looks like a pregnant whale. Cgi is terrible. There's no sense of scale at all. You don't get any feeling of size or weight to the monsters. Not one of the American Godzilla movies has an actor who can act worth a damn-especially cranston. Way overrated actor. These movies taken as a whole just suck so damn much.
