As a designer I deal with nightmare couples like this on a daily bases. I feel more like a marriage counselor most days. You'll have wives steam rolling their husbands because they have 'no sense of style' and husbands that demand the cheapest cause they are paying. It gets ugly sometimes. I wonder how many break it off after their renovations.

He's the kind of guy who has a bunch of tools all neatly organized and they all still look brand new because they've never been used.

Ive seen one worse than this. I felt so so bad for the husband. He never ever got anything he wanted and the wife was extremely selfish and all about herself 100% of the time.

The mother-in-law driving with her daughter in the front seat and the husband in the back is the perfect visual for this whole situation, the whole thing is funny how awkward it is but very strange how the woman's mom is orchestrating everything for her own benefit and for unknown reason the couple is going along with it!
