This thing is so crappy, I thought the price was going to be like $80 or something. For what they're asking, it's better to go with a refurbished laptop or a Chromebook (which would be FAR better for web browsing).

The funny thing is with the chromebook that the mousepad isn´t the best to use. You will have to mash the pad to click and there is no right click which does suck to be honest. Rather have a real laptop than this option.

Pasta Sarmonella E-Specialé yes and they removed the caps lock for the search key, so putting a penny in between the keyboard holder and the shift key makes a shitty caps lock that costs $0.01

I’d rather pick up an old 2nd hand thinkpad or elitebook from like 5 years ago. Display would be a shite, but at least it won’t fall apart, lol.

Actually find that the displays on older business grade laptops are more often then not quite alright/good. Yes the resolution might not be up to par with today's standards, but usually they are pretty bright displays with good colour representation and viewing angles. A while ago i had a hp nc8000 which would be i think a 13-14 year old model now and i was shocked to see how good the display was compared to my 2016 lenovo ideapad, the colours were so vivid and viewing angles couldn't have been better from a laptop from that age and were certainly a lot better then my lenovo ideapad

You can easily find a 2nd hand laptop like that with a core i5 2,53 ghz dual core processor with hyperthreading. Buy a new battery and ssd drive(they come with slow hdds and 4gb ddr3 ram usually) and maybe throw in an additional 4 gb ram(if you have the need and money for 8 gb ram total) and you got yourself a pretty nice laptop for work.(all in all it would be 350 USD with all the upgrades) A friend of mine bought one like that a year ago, so I tell this from what I have seen not just from looking at the specs sheet.

I had this laptop before but it was rubbish but when when you have that 2k display screen it can lag quite a lot just stick with lower display quality

My experience with Jumper Laptops: I actually purchased an EZbook 3SE from geekbuying a couple months ago as a backup spare for note taking so im not carrying around my $2.5K Asus Strix GL502VSK. It addressed many of the issues the EZbook 2 had such as USB ports not supplying enough power for external HDD's and even reducing the screen bezel size. Shipped in two weeks and cleared customs without a hitch which surprised me. So the question is, was it any good? The little 13.3" thing is surprisingly amazing. I mean not performance wise at all but in terms of overall weight and even a full 1920x1080p screen, I was hella surprised that it was only $170USD. It's been a couple months and still runs fine. Emmc flash storage is quite snappy and the N3350 is acceptable for light use. I get a solid 7-7.5h out of it on battery with general use (MSWord + Firefox open). Considering the CPU uses ~4-6Watts, battery has been the biggest plus. I can get through two 3hour lectures without dropping below 20%. Even plays classic WoW patch 1.12 (LightsHope Private Server) for a solid 50-60fps on its lowest settings. If you're in the market for a cheap backup laptop so you dont need to lug around a heavier workstation, I recomend the EZbook 3 and 3SE. Don't go for the EZbook2 shown in the video. Most retailers have left over unsold stock and it goes cheap but you're better off putting down the extra $20-30 and getting the newer model as it really has adressed a lot of the issues from their previous line up.

The laptop looks the the 2009 Macbook mixed with an Air, it's not a good design. Laptop is again cheaply made, Cheaper than an Hp stream 15. However the only good thing about it is it would be decent for someone's first laptop.

Vegetaplays it wouldn’t though . A thinkpad is stronger, has better hardware, I’m sure has a better keyboard, and again, has. Better bang for the buck. The laptop is only good if your tryin to watch 1080p on an extreme budget. EDIT: grammar

The HP Stream lineup's build quality punches above it's price point and far above this POS. I had a Stream 13 for five years and it went through hell everyday including being dropped down the stairs like 5 times but everything works. Even after I took it apart for fun and accidentally got water on some of the parts, it still runs like a champ. I gave the HP to my brother and got a Surface about 9 months ago. The crappy thing overheated to a point of frying the internals and charger last month and I was strapped for cash so I got another stream for $170 at Target and it blew away my expectations and is even better built than the previous gen I had. Next time I buy a high end laptop, it's gonna be HP again.

Wow I'm happy I didn't buy this back when I studied at a university as I did see this on Amazon and was a little tempted. I didn't have a lot of money to spend for hardware. I ended up buying a cheap Lenovo laptop, probably even the cheapest at that time, for just €222 on sale. Even though it was completely made of plastic it actually felt okay and sturdy enough. The lid looked metal-ish. The processor was an Intel Celeron (the exact kind I don't remember) and it was basically the lowest spec Lenovo you could get at that store. It was probably a better deal than this, even though the screen also kind of sucked. I think it was 1080p resolution at 13" but the rest of the screen may have been just about as bad as the one shown here. I'm glad I recently got an M1 MacBook Pro 13" at a good price.

Yes, when it isn't USB C connector, you definitely have to check the voltage compatibility. Standard is supposed to be 19V or close to it.

I would dig it - decent keyboard, decent processor, great battery life (even with a destroyed battery), super thin and light, and storage faster than a standard HDD. With a minimal Arch Linux install - the 32Gib storage would be in its elements - however there appears to be issues with the sound drivers. There are better buys though, but not the worst - you get what you pay for after all.

Silley Doggo I guess so, I've recently bought myself a cheap used air, 2012 model in fact with 8GB ram and it still runs like new if you're looking for a laptop mainly for watching videos editing too I'd say etc just basically anything but gaming then a MacBook is great, personally I don't think I'd bring myself to buy a brand new one for the full price though

I had one. The mainboard got on flames still in guarantee. They replaced it for a less powerful one and with a cost (so much for the guarantee). Lasted about two years till it died again. 🤷🏻‍♂️ bad choice on my part.

At least it has a quad core. It is little better for multi tasking than the Intel Celeron N3060 that are usually found in low end laptops.

mine takes around 4 minutes to boot and around 5 minutes to get google chrome opened, games like half life 2 and gta san andreas run at like 15-20 fps

The same laptop i have. It was ok at first. About a week using it, i died. Yay, another 2 years of this including deleting files every month. (Very bad storage)
