The funny part is that Crypto has always been able to ply aggro. People just dont consider doing so. The problem stems from how people use the drone. When I used to play crypto, I would toss my drone out in a fight when I couldnt see enemies and immediately call it back. If they were behind cover Id know because I wouldnt see them, if they were puhing then ofc id also know. The quick scan potential is actually goated.

Crypto main here; he's always been viable since his earlier rework... but it took a lot more effort to manage his drone. This is QoL bliss

The worst legend?? Curb your tongue! Crypto has been slept on for ages because his kit requires a lot more knowhow than Bloodhound's does. He's always been really good, his ult shuts down teams. But why play a legend where you have to multitask when you can play Bloodhound and get equal scan value but easier?

Ah, Solos. Where most people play like Warzone. Get weapons, go sit on a roof and camp on the edge of the ring. Have not enjoyed that on Broken Moon.

I was gonna say. Totally see why the devs were against it now, Apex should really be about team play. Yeah some people can't stick with a squad, but that issue is a problem with most games and is honestly an issue that can only be fixed if the player chooses to listen 😂

I have been a loyal Wattson main for two years. Have most of her skins, heirloom & 7,000 kills. But, dropped her last season for Crypto. Got his green heirloom a few weeks ago.... and now this huge buff... I turned up for the gig late... but Crypto is brilliant.

Did bro just call crypto, who at one point had a 100% pick rate in algs, the worst legend in apex history? 🤔 All jokes aside crypto is probably the best recon legend in the game. He can remotely grab banners and use respawn beacons with his drone instantly, tell how many squads are in the area, constantly know enemies locations, and use survey beacons with his drone instantly. On top of that he has an emp which immediately destroys all traps and deals 50 damage opening enemies up for a push. The list just keeps going. You need to be good to play him tho

Don’t think I’ve died to a crypto due to his kit in like 8 seasons. I’ve only died to cryptos recently off rip due to being out gunned (dropping on bad/no guns) rather than out played. He’s good if you know what you’re doing but even in high diamond/master ranked I still see idiots play him. Not to mention the ass randoms I get who are like lvl 100 in pubs who can’t play him for shit.

I’ve been saying he’s needed this passive change for 10 seasons. The other issue they need to fix with crypto for high level play is giving him the ability to scan the ring. He was good in comp cause he could get ring, and he hasn’t been able to do that for 5 seasons. Either make it a perk or give his drone the ability to just hack it. Maybe he doesn’t get evo, but at least shows the ring.

Early Apex, like second year I believe. I used to get on Sydney servers sometimes to try to get a lobby w Zeus and/or Puffer. Finally got on a squad with Puffer and he rage quit! 😂😂😂 All love though we went on to win the match without him.

This dude Zeus has been banned multiple times for cheating and crying to EA to get his account unbanned, you can also tell he is cheating by how he has absolutely 0 recoil with any gun in the game (especially the 301) Look at his lock on and how he is hunting people while acting like he isn't (literally says at the beginning I KNOW SOMEONE IS HERE xD they weren't even withing 50meters of you as the screen would have indicated and acted surprised because there was a 2nd person there. Kills dude then clowns saying you didn't kill this guy while actively locking onto dude and melting him and there isn't ANY amount of aim assist to lock onto people from that distance

90% of a Legend's effectiveness depends on who's controlling them. Crypto is my least favorite Legend, but I've also gotten smacked by a good EMP push and had to respect it.

Crypto is still garbage. I just play him because the reward for getting a good play for him is SO satisfying. But lore wise he’s my favorite in the game and I Hope respawn gives him a chance at being reborn like Revenant.
