I remember I was having a break from Ninjago around 2018 so only getting destiny wing makes me angry as an older collector who would do anything for sets like the dieslenaught

The ninja has never had confirmed ages but even if they were teenagers in the pilot, there is no way they are still teenagers by the time Skybound happens. Way too much time has passed for them to be kids. They were literally teachers in rebooted💀. I know Kai says that they are teenagers in Hunted but I consider that a a continuity error because that literally makes no sense

I'm kinda glad that the small set wasn't picked for season 7, I thought it would be but it was my first Ninjago set.

Sorry to bust your balls man but I own two copies of the garmatron and it is actual garbage. It’s not accurate. It’s weird and awkward to move. There’s a goofy jail cell that cannot hold anything because there’s just a bunch of gears inside of the jail. The only play feature is a canon that you’ll shoot once and lose the ammo for until the next three weeks. Zane’s side build looks like it’s straight out of a 4+ set. But the mini figures are good

Of course I'm blinded by nostalgia for whichever sets I owned (looking at you cole's blaster bike, vermillion invader, overborg, and you warrior bike, though admittedly the last two are justified). The one thing I will say is Nuckle's atv definitely takes worst for year one over that cole set.

The Destiny's Wing was built in the show from the scraps of the Destiny's Bounty that got teleported with them.

Great video! I agree with most of your choices, and I can totally see why you chose the ones you did. Here's my list. 2011: Ninja Training Outpost. Same reason as you. 2012: Venomari Shrine Same reason. 2013: Cole's drill thingy. It just feels cheapy, like there's not enough going on with it. I think this and Kai's mech should've been one larger set. 2014: Hover Hunter. It also feels a bit bare bones, I do like that it comes with Cole's Techno blade though. 2015(Possession) Jay Walker One. It's quirky, but the build looks and feels a bit basic for a $30 USD set. 2016 Departed: Ronin's Salvage Mech. I know these are all made out of Legos, but this one looks like a bunch of Lego bricks put together with not a lot of thought put into it. 2018: Vermillion Invader. It's like Garmatron, but not as good lol. 2018 SOG: Throne Room Showdown. It's phenomenal because it's relatively cheap considering how many good minifigures it comes with. But the buildings remind me of Venomari Shrine. It's still a good set, it's just th least good imo. 2018 Hunted: Destiny's Wing, same reason as you. 2019: Monastery Training, same reason as you. 2020: Cole's Speeder Car. Cole and the rat guy not having armor and health bars is my only real issue, but it's a big enough issue for me, though. 2021: Jay's Electro Mech... super easy to decide. 2022: Lloyd's Ninja Mech, it's basically 2021 Jay's mech. 2023: Lloyd's Street Bike. It's like a worse version of his bike in Overborg Battle.

I did purchase the 4+ lloyd core mech, but it was to complete my collection as I got the combo mech a few days earlier, so I thought I had to get it (poor financial decision)

Am I alone in thinking the Vermillion bike is actually pretty awesome? Honestly I think the Vermillion just have a really cool aesthetic, hands of time was a letdown for a lot of reasons, but the aethetic was not one of them.

Dude when sons of garmadon came out I hated it because of the new ninja designs. I was young and wasn’t used to them. But I have gotten used to them and have grown to actually prefer them over the old ones. Anyway I regret not getting almost ANY sons of garmadon sets other than Lloyd’s car and the snake jaguar bikes. And I didn’t get the deislnaught! 😢

The destinies wing in my opinion was a cool set back when it came out mu ain’t gave it to me and I didn’t get ninjago sets often so I played with it for a while

The last time I got a set was wow definitely 11 years ago at this point, and I completely forget it’s still a Lego show… but the last set I got was Garmatron and I don’t know why there was never a Garmadon mech or overlord dragon set 😢
