John Rocker actually DID warn Val that she was on the chopping block, right? I kind of felt bad for him, as his past destroyed his chances. His 2 biggest alliances were ironically with the black couple (Jeremy and Val), and the gay couple (Josh and Reed). And it felt sincere.

What's even funnier about Val's two idols lie in hindsight is that in Cambodia, Jeremy finds two idols HIMSELF and claims that "they're for Val, these are Val's idols". I guess Val really did find two idols after all!

I love how All Stars can get a mention in both categories, because no way the underwater bunker isn't first place in worst shelter ever, and on the opposite list, the Chapter shelter is one of my favorites, especially when they included that porch swing

I was so hoping John Rocker trying to pass himself off as John Wetteland would make this list. Rocker could have at least claimed he never made much money in baseball because his career ended so quickly; Wetteland was a star for a decade and made a fortune. But either way, he had to know somebody would recognize him (and both Wesley and Jeremy did).

I liked that dude a lot ...sure we will see him again with a second chance..he is still young ..also he lied with his immunity idol..he had James's idol from survivor China..and he tricked his tribe during the tribal council that his idol is valid to save two people and not just one as James was voted off with 2 idols in his bag...very clever idea .. though he played it wrong and one of his allies was voted off.

Abi's thought process was actually brilliant and on point, she just didt deliver it properly. But I remember watching her then in Phillipines and was rooting for her, it was very refreshing watching her fight her way and never give up until the very end even though she was down in the dumps. Abi was equally or more entertaining in Cambodia as well. Truly a character for the books.

8:41 another bad lie Amanda told in HvV is her lying to Candice about the whole idol situation, speaking that is directly the reason she goes home. If she doesn't lie to Candice there, she probably can still win the game 'cause Sandra would have flipped and they had the numbers, but by lying to Candice, Amanda ensures she goes home at 9.

Abi's lie was bad to the TV audience, but despite how the edit made the 4 look confident, reality is Carter was sent home before her. I'm sure the fear of another idol played a part in that, together with Carter's challenge prowess and likability of course.

I mean, even if we all don't like Redemption Island (Not the season, the twist), we can all admit that the story lines from Redemption Island in South Pacific and BvW are hilarious. Christine's bitterness, as well as Stacey and Ozzy's iconic speeches come from South Pacific. In BvW, you have everyone blaming Brad, alongside everyone burning the idol clues and making Probst go mad. It's hilarious and I love it.

@@KartoffelHundin She visited Island of the Idols and was given the challenge to go back to camp and explain to her tribe what the next immunity challenge would be (The one where people are blindfolded and go out to find puzzle pieces). Her mission was to get her tribe to let her be the caller in the challenge. If she was successful, she'd get an advantage or something. If she screwed up, she'd lose her vote at tribal. Her lie was so bad that her tribe ended up sitting her out for that challenge😂

I mean, let's be honest, no one is going to pull a Jeff Kent keeping his identity secret again. The only reason he was able to is Dawson is a complete nutjob and just decided to screw with him, instead of revealing who he was. That moment when she's just trolling Baseball as a sport 'cause she knows Jeff is listening is hilarious. Also, Dawson is a forgotten gem of an early boot who needs to return. Imagine Brice and Dawson on the same season. That would be AMAZING.

I'm pretty sure that's why John and Mike didn't even attempt to try during DvG, because no way either one was getting away with hiding their celeb status, since odds are there was going to be at least one fan of either pro wrestling or any of the movies Mike directed. And now I'm wondering if during Tocantins, people just saw Taj as Eddie George's wife, or did someone figure out that she already had her very successful music career before she married Eddie

The honest and deceive twist has been done so many times now that if I was them I would just take the clue and leave the beans or rice and say there was nothing.( Depends on if it's extra food or the only food your tribe will receive though)

I’m watching the season with John Rocker right now and I was WAITING for Val’s HORRIBLE lie to John the whole time. I’m glad it was #1! So bad 🤦🏻♀️🙈 and then Jeremy is pissed at John! I hope he regretted how he reacted after watching the playback.
