always funny, but thinking about it makes you realise that rupee routing is actually quite hard in this, because there are so many scrubs and there's so much stuff in shops. not having enough rupees means a lot of backtracking and timeloss.

Most of the time I just use chat's shared brain cell to post monkaS or Stalzone in response to the music. But it is nice watching highlights and seeing old comments go by.

I'd argue having either of the Hookshot checks there is among the worst, purely because it means there is a fairly high chance you might have to do hookshotless Morpha, which is really painful. Not an "impossible" check but a very painful one. He's lucky that the other Hookshot was also there in Forest, as otherwise he would have known the only HS he knew was behind Hookshotless Morpha.

Watching a streamer gets you “channel points” for that streamer which you can use to temporarily unlock emotes if you’re not subscribed. You can bet channel points on prediction polls set up by the streamer. All the points are pooled together and everyone who wins the prediction divides the points relative to the amount they bet. ZFG sets up predictions for “which item will I get first” and for jokes adds a “the emulator will crash first” option, which actually happened so the 2 people who bet on it made bank

@@AttacMage that is correct. in the video, zfg went far enough away for the initial bow to unload, got the second bow and when he returned, the quiver was loaded. it would obviously be possible to change models in a shop while both items are on screen, but rando does not do that as far as I know.

you have strength, so the dungeon is actually possible. and using on of the most basic glitches (ground jump) the first item you can obtain is a bomb bag.

That's the thing with QOL stuff in randomizers imo, at the end of the day OOT is an old ass game and nobody wants to do tedious stuff. That's why personally I always have it so my starting inventory has Prelude, Serenade, and Suns song (making sure that one graveyard check in turn is guaranteed junk) so that way I don't actually gain any check advantage, rather just speeding up the process of playing a seed so it's less time consuming to do full seed runs and actually finish them. To balance that convenience out, I turn on stuff like quadruple damage and other settings to make it more challenging and difficult, while making the ride as fun as possible. That's at least what I like to do, because rando is meant to be as customizable as humanly possible, it's really up to you whatever you wanna do. TLDR: oot is old as balls and rando is meant to be for fun, play with whatever settings you personally enjoy

Sure but you can also generally door of time skip which would be a pain to do every single time

It is WiiVC, an emulator on the WIi Console that lets you play a lot of the N64 classics. N64 is the original version for speedrunning and has several advantages, but the WiiVC version has less lag and has become the best version for many categories to run the game on, also because it is so accessible (a Wii costs about $30 and you can crack it and get the game for free)

you get the boss key to fight ganon after certain requirements (in this case, beating 8 dungeons). So once you are able to beat all those by having the boss keys and the required items, you are in "go mode" which means you do not have to get any more chests, skulls, cows or whatever, because you have everything you need to beat the rando. so when zfg or chat says "go mode" it means he is on a straight path to beat the seed.

are you actually complaining about daily 4hrs+ speedrun content?
