So for those that don't know how 40k lore works: I read all my lore directly from sources, in this case: The Horus Heresy Book Nine - Crusade This is the ONLY info available on them, does it sound close to the wiki because of that? Probably, it's the same source, as there is only one. It is not one on one, I never read the wiki as the info there is written by fans, and 99% of the time, they get their lore wrong.

@@Eroll-dw8exImperium no longer uses AI and the tech/blueprints of these models were forgotten/entrusted to the Lion alone for good reason. Plus, a 'human' pilot would be far less efficient at piloting such a disastrous piece of tech.

@shanecollins4483 That's not as much as a weakness as you may think. Tyranids have defeated Chaos Undevided soundly multiple times. Same issue with deamons, little to no biomass. Know what does have biomass though? The planet they battled on. While the main Nid forces fought the deamons, swarms of Rippers devoured the planet's biomass so swiftly that every dead Tyranid was rapidly replaced and their overall numbers swelled. Plus, people seem to forget the Tyranids are arguably the strongest Psykers.

There's a reason why they basically obliterated the entire human civilization at the end of Age of Technology. The same civilization that would consider the top-tier imperial military toys to be a mining equipment or scout vehicles at best. Hell, the Imperial Knights were used for farming and agriculture before being poorly retrofited for military duty. Even Orks were having a cease-fire with Humans back then due to the difference in firepower...freaking Orks.

Don't forget the dark age AI satellites that the mechanicus used against the necron. The ai convinced the Magos to deactivate their safety protocols and then managed to one shot tomb ships. Then they created a warp rift in the middle of a necron pariah nexus which is impossible.

Given the ridiculous crap such tech is able to do whenever it pops up in the fluff, Orks and Tau would be a joke. Necrons, especially if united, would still be a serious threat given their tech is even more absurd. Nids could go many ways depending on how large their numbers truly are.
