As someone who broke their lower back nearly 1 year ago, I was forced to go back to living with my parents at 30 with a five year old son as I could do nothing. I managed to avoid any need for surgery or strong painkillers but damn I was out the game for over 6 weeks. Forced me to retire from carpet fitting of fifteen years in January 23. Still at a loss, want to do what I know best but physically can’t. This man who jumped in the shallow water probably saved his life by not going head first but the pain must have been unbearable instantly 😢❤
