Iss baar har college ka yhi haal sare branch ka iit/nit/IIIT sab ka😂 Upar se placement lagne k baad koi job security thori hoti h private job h IT field m 40years ki age m company Nikal deti hh mostly 😂 Those who are thinking ki placement hone k baad life chil h rip for those 😅 My cousin brother was laid off from Accenture company he was working from 7years and CTC was 16lakh per annum But yeah is looking for other company

Reservation is one of the biggest reasons. Deserving students don’t get the branches according to their potential

Most Reserved students don't get placed anyway or get placed at a low package. And is baar to hiring overall hi kam hui hai har jagah toh reservation waale ikka dukka hi huye honge bhai. Also it's not that deserving students don't get the branch according to their potential rather u should say that these reserved students get branch much higher than their potential

Lol, No. It's because of the Global Recession. Besides, Placements are not done on the Basis of JEE Ranks. The most important thing is CGPA, your Confidence, and your skills. And when it comes to this, whether you're AIR 1 or AIR 10k, it doesn't matter because these things aren't tested in JEE.

@@Gotouchsomegrass-bs9nu it does matter lol quant companies look for people with exceptional mathematical skills so many bhimtas get disqualified in the first round itself lol although it is iitb even the last reserved student would also do something meaningful with thier lives my brother in iit kgp had an sc roommate he couldnt even construct proper english sentences my brother made his cv although at the end he didnt get placed

@@renu9201ur deluded man , caste don't matter in placements 🤣 , in life race ur caste ,race dosent even matter . No one cares about ur JEE rank after 4yrs in clg , if u have 5-6 cgpa even ur AIR 1 u won't get placed or if u are AIR1 u don't have social skills ur fked up

dude i am in 3rd year and our seniors at dtu are even struggling for 10-15lpa ctc, in ece almost half of the batch from 240 students is unplaced, if iit bombay is struggling then just imagine what's going on at other nits iiits

Bhaiya can u put up some light on the criteria required for Management Consultancy like CG ,CV,intern etc. I heard IITB's criteria for Bain and Comp is 9+ cg Is that true?

8.5 is safe in general but IIT Bombay ke competition ka kuch keh nahi sakte.

Ask a NEET aspirant about this. Securing even a decent rank in such a high scoring exam with 20 lakh+ aspirants is itself a tedious task, fir maanlo mbbs mil bhi gya toh 5 saal baad prepare and appear for NEET PG. After PG and respective specialization they have to work in govt. Hospitals for 2-3 years with a low salary. Itna sab ke baad jaake uss stable career ki shuruaat hoti hai. Moral of the story: nothing is easy

@@renu9201 easy nhi hai but carrier me gowth toh hai ... Ek chhote Sahar ke gali me bhi doctor easily 1 lakh earn kar lete hai par engineer ko 10-15k ka bhi job bahut mushkil se milta hai bhai !

Keep on working hard and focus on building skill .50% of the students in premier institute even IIT lacks skill and struggle to get placement in recession time. At the time of slowdown, need to stay calm and do hands on exercise to be comfortable in skill. Build network ,show confidence and improve communication skills. These are from my experience as I was fortunate enough to have placement in recession time in 2001(placement percentage in IIT KGP was 40% in 2001, but 2003 it was normal placement). From a recruiter perspective, can comment that 2026 will be all right, 2025 needs to be extra cautious. You are at my son's age, best of luck and work hard

Placement is always cyclical and dependant on the business cycles. I have seen 30 years of placement as I am an alumni of IIT IIM for last 25 years
