You forgot the most important part about the OG PS3 its backwards comp with just about all PS2 and PS1 disks and that is also the biggest reason the slim models should of been lower ranked they got ride of that compatibility

It is interesting how little they talked about each console’s library of games. The PS2 is clearly S Tier as it is the greatest selling console ever and has arguably one of the best libraries of any console to ever be released.

Honestly kind of weird to me that they consistently went with C/D tier for all the slim versions. They mostly agreed that they all had improvements over the original for a cheaper price, and yet ranked them all much lower than the originals.

The big upgrade from ps4 to ps4 slim that they glossed over was the fan noise. The ps4 slim is so quiet in comparison to the original model. Noise is such a big factor for me that I even downgraded my ps4 pro to a slim just because of the damn fan noise

I would give fat ps2 a A tier and the slim ps2 an S tier, shrinking that huge size to a very slim device where it can fit anywhere is a huge process in the early 20'S

Nothing do to with this video but I need your advice. I am about to get a laptop and this time I am not sure which one I should buy. My latest one was an HP but I got that wonderful Smart Hard disk error 3f0, plus the battery doesn't work anymore and it's hard in Greece to even get one. I am willing to spend 1000€ for a laptop, as long as it will run almost all apps fast over the next 5 years. Thanks and have a nice day!

I think if the PS VIta had gone the route that Nintendo did and used standard storage devices, that alone would have probably saved it...also they could have just done away with the cellular model to start with...the Vita was $250 for the Wifi model, which was already kind of expensive. The games were more expensive than the DS games, but also they were much closer to a console quality experience than the DS...but what killed the Vita was those insane memory card prices. Using standard memory cards would have helped a lot.

Imagine spending full price at launch for an original PS3 Fat and you use it for 2 days before the fan fails and the broadband engine bricks itself due to heat and the disc drive fails with it. The store you purchased it from refuses to take it back for a refund, and to have Sony warranty the thing you have to pay almost $200 just to get a box sent to your house and to ship the system back to them to have it lost in shipping to never be seen again never got a replacement or any kind of compensation from the shipping company. I ended up getting a Wii that lasted until 2015 and still works to this day. Got an Xbox one S limited edition in 2016 and haven't had any problems with it until a few months ago when the hard drive started showing signs of failure. Also the U.S. Air Force made a super computer out of PS3 Fats but I cant say I'm a fanboy of any one system or manufacturer I like them all.

Not only was the PSP Go released too soon, but on top of that a huge chunk of the PSP's library was only ever released physically.

The PS Vita, PSP Go and PS3 Slim are my favourite PlayStation consoles, I have so many good memories... if only Sony wasn’t so greedy with the Vita, we might have seen a Vita 2!

What about the PlayStation Classic? I know it ain't a proper console but it was extremely easy to mod. So if you had a big enough memory stick then you could get 1000+++ games instead of the 20 that came with the console.

I'd give the PlayStationTV a B-C rating once you add the whitelist mod, a sdcard adapter, and emulated PSP UI. Matt is right about the PS2 original because it was also people's first DVD Player because those were also expensive when they first released

I still got the PSP go and it fits perfectly in my hands, it is the most comfortable portable console in my opinion. If Sony came out with a new console in the same form factor I would buy it fast

Yea you're full of crap, that ps5 looks so beautiful with the blue accents courtesy of Playstation, the mix of black and white that's very consistent with the accessories, and the overall design looks great, this is coming from who is mainly a Xbox gamer, have played Xbox 360 and Xbox one s, but also psp back in the day

I own a psp 1001 with a cracked motherboard I'm looking everywhere for the motherboard and over here in Argentina it's hard but not impossible to find.

I have had the ps3 slim since 2010 and it still works amazingly well

with my first ps one, I didn't have a memory card. I had to finish games in one go.

Every argument on proprietary memory cards for the vita and psp is valid if we are talking about back then. But this is now. There are adapters where you can use a micro sd cad with the same amount of storage for not even half of the price

Ps2 slim was my final console I went pc master race and now I'm mostly on the steam deck using it for both as a pc and emulation station.

I’ve always loved the slim consoles and have only owned the slim versions of every console I’ve bought. I went from the PS2 Slim to the Xbox 360 slim to the PS4 Slim and now the PS5 Slim. It’s been great as the slim consoles bring with them a very refined experience coupled with the fact that they come out a few years after the base console which means by the time you buy a slim console you’ll almost certainly have a large library of games to play on it.
