I think I’ve figured it out about the eyes Springtraps outer eyes usually appear green/yellow instead of the actual white color they are. This is due to the lighting in Fnaf 3. That is usually tinted green (it’s very noticeable in his jumpscare). Now, why would funko make this mistake on his pupils and not his scleras? Simple. His eye rings. They visually appear in front of his eyes in EVERY scene he’s in. Likely some employee saw this and assumed it was a sickly gray look for his scleras. So they went White - sclera Yellow - iris Black - pupil And that’s probably how they intended to structure it. If you change his models eye rings to all white you can tell how they’d make this mistake. The Fnaf VR model displays this whole thing even better.

I think burnttraps should design is underrated. Maybe not the best but it’s definitely cool. It’s oddly very close to what I imagined a scraptrap redesign would be. (Not that scraptraps design is bad I just always thought of a different interpretation of him.)

I think the main thing holding back the Funko Springtrap action figure is the head, it looks like an awkward fusion between the original Springtrap design and his FNAF World design. If Funko rereleased their Springtrap figure with an improved head sculpt (And possibly a color scheme closer to the preliminary renders of the figure, which was much more accurate to Sprintrap's color scheme in FNAF 3), it would be one of the better pieces of Springtrap merch currently out.

I’m disappointed. This is the worst variant of Ooftroop. He’s wearing a plain black jacket and I don’t know how to feel about it, and his head oddly feels a lot like a square to me.

Amen. I really want some Springtrap merch as a newly minted Springtrap fan, but I've been spoiled by being in fandoms for eastern media for years, now, so everything Funko produces looks like garbage. The glowing, haunted, freaky white eyes were so cool!

I'm glad MacFarlane Springtrap with his extra long snooty booper was included. Outside of some minor inaccuracies, MacFarlane stuff isn't too good anyway. Not only does your Springtrap's snout look like a subway sandwich and having no mystery meat inside, he might come in the mail pre-packaged with lazy eye syndrome (along with all other FNaF characters they did.) Not not only that but MacFarlane had a habit of messing up specialized molds and sometimes you'd have to cut bits of plastic off just to somewhat fit them onto studs. Last thing I wanna note is the illegal act of putting stickers over multiple bricks (a sin among brick-building systems) as well as using PAPER for the fabric stand-ins (like with Foxy's curtains) you slip up once or tug too hard and the curtains will be spending their final days in the trash can. There's not much of what I can say about Funko though, everyone knows. They're a "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" type of company. Make a bunch of different FNaF stuff and hope some of it is successful. Some of it is official, some of it is Funko's original ocs donut steel. I wish we had one or two companies which also made high-quality merch be it game-accurate, or merch that looks like stuff straight out of a Freddy's pizzeria if it was real. Sanchee kinda did that but I think the deal with them was cancelled long ago, best known for making that one cool security badge and making all of the in-game plushies game-accuracy (the main crew in addition to a Golden Freddy plushie and a Fredbear one I believe

I think the most accurate and the best version is of springtrap (fnaf 3), because within the lore of fnafs springlock failures, springtraps design best illustrate what a springlock victim looks like. Even though some will have an issue with his anatomy, keep in mind the victims bones and internal organs are crushed and moved around the suits endoskeleton. Which can explain his gut ankles. I think burntrap is cool in design and close to accurate anatomically however I feel that he should have less teeth and a broken lower jaw or robotic one. Plus if you think about it I'm going off topic alittle but skeletonization happens to the body and the organs and flesh decays fully within 8-12 years depending on environment it could be sooner. But in springtrap case it could take a couple of years if not less for him to be fully reduced to a skeleton (mainly his skull). And he's been in the room for 30 years. Unless his remnant halts the bodies decomposing process. This is just what I think I could be wrong in certain areas if so corrected me. Great video and cant wait for more to come.

The worst part is that if you were paint the Springtrap action figure all one color, it actually reveals a lot of details that go unnoticed. Your best option is to take the figure and repaint it.

I also want to mention how funkotrap cursed me to draw springtrap with a lighter base colour for over a year. Thank so much funko.

I know what I'm about to say probably doesn't matter to literally anyone, but I recently did a revamp of a springtrap cosplay I made a few years back and changed it from yellow and lime green (yes, yellow and lime) to a faded, dirty beige. While I definitely agree that the classic mouldy dark-green color pallet is the best, I stand by my choice of colors
