Is it me but Djokovic complains a lot about unfair legal plays… there is a reason why a lot of the players don’t like him. Roger and nadal are good friends. Players talk about more than they were good tennis players. Serena had tons of friends on tour. So saying it was the competition is crazy. Also I remember when joker first started. He was hated for doing unsportsmanlike things all the time. He was booed multiple times at US open. AO. FO.

Djokovic has always been a sore winner/loser, as we saw in his ridiculous argument for a hindrance in IW 2024. Then continued chastising the #124 player at the handshake. He has just been winning so much in the last decade we don't get to see it as much.
@MrPatrickbuit2 ай бұрын
Nah Djokovic is generally a gracious loser. I think there's a lot wrong with him, but there's no way you can say he's a sore loser imo. What he did at IW 2024 was absolutely stupid though. He had no case, just like when he got upset at Norrie for simply hitting a smash near his feet (which is something that happens all the time in doubles anyway) or when he got mad that he got a warning for throwing his racket into the stands. All of these are from the last year btw
@loc79092 ай бұрын
@@MrPatrickbuit Yes when it's someone higher on the rankings I agree. Yes I have seen all those incidents as well, I'm more referring to his constantly taking medical timeouts back in the day, not that long ago actually, taking FOREVER to serve, and I know that's wasn't against the rules just like flopping in NBA didn't used to be against the rules but it was always seen as a poor sport move & now both are against the rules (flopping & serve clock). I personally think Djokovic & LeBron, were a big part of both those rules happening and they're both goat contenders. To me it's an unforced error in character, and when you're discussing goats that's a factor to people. Maybe it shouldn't be but if it is, then it just hurts his legacy and I hate to see it TBH. No one would ever accuse Roger or Rafa of being a poor sport. It's at least a debate with Novak. He's got the crown, now wear it like the goat should...

It's funny that Rune asked Stan if he had anything to say after their match at IW when it was he who had nothing to say when Stan gave him his advice. Moving on to Tiafoe: what an absolute child. He was only mad because he was losing. His opponent was playing under the same exact conditions. Novax is a man child, this will choke you for as long as u can’t accept it. It has NOTHING to do with FEDAL. It doesn’t matter how much you obsess over FEDAL. The booes and disrespect Novax gets all over the world is us due to his behavior. His lack of self control. This hasn’t changed even when he is a veteran. Novak is a singles specialist. FEDAL have varied skills to them as pro players. They have a doubles career, winning Masters 1000,Olympic gold . Novax doesn’t even have a 500 doubles ATP title. He doesn’t have the varied skillset. He has technical weaknesses: smash is terrible, volley is average. They definitely are technically sound than him. Therefore better, he can only compete with them in singles. That’s it. One trick pony. Focus on your guy to be a better man, hitting a ball over the net isn’t enough. Lots of players can do that. Self control and self respect could have earned him respect. He’ll keep doing PR begging for likes. How embarrassing for a veteran. Keep coming for FEDAL!

So The Nole derangement crowd files in. Novak was clearly conceding the point. You could hit, tap, drop or volley anywhere in the court. But he chose to drill him in the back. Djokovic clearly said he knows it’s legal but *in the locker room* the players just don’t think it shows respect. All players would say the same thing, Novak just answered honestly. If the point was being hotly contested & the same shot was played, there’d be no reaction from any player. Nobody’s mentioned it but it’s highly possible it was a frame or a mishit. It made zero sense to play the shot at the opponent’s body. But in the heat of a match, I can see any player giving ‘the look’. Djokovic didn’t complain to the umpire, just a look, and in the presser he was asked how he felt about it. Take Roger or Rafa or anyone for that matter and have someone drill them *In the back* as they conceded the point and you’d see a stare, guaranteed, which is all you see here. We’re all getting tired of you sour grapes people because Rafa & Roger cannot break Novack’s record. Let’s be honest, you all just pissed off. Get over it.
