We ARE slaves. The plantation just looks different today. We may not be out in the fields singing Harry Belafonte's Calypso song, but we are inside the building instead singing, "Hello, how may I help you today," whether on the phone, behind the counter, or on the sales floor. The boss is our master, though he may reprimand us instead of lashing us for minor infractions or fire us instead of tying our limbs to 2-3 horses in front of family members to make an example out of us. The situation is a bit better today, since one is not forced to breed with his mother, sister, or other female relatives on those slave-breeding farms of America's past. Nonetheless, we ARE still SLAVES. The mentality has never changed from its foundation. The slave driver is very much alive today.

@Neil Bajwa obviously I will be bothered about calling derogatory terms. If you don't have any problem with that, then why do you discuss about racism in the US 🤣🤣? And, if you have so much hatred of the northeastern people, then why don't you let us be a separate country then? Remember, northeast never wanted to be a part of India, but India wanted the northeast to be a part of India during independence. Oh yes, if you let northeast be a separate country, then you guys will hardly fetch a medal in Olympics 🤣🤣.

Till 1960's Blacks were segregated. Thus, right now there is a whole range of people born in the 1950's & 60's who have seen racism, who have practiced racial segregation (remember blacks had separate buses), and as parents they raised kids with racial bias. The blacks were never integrated into mainstream. Blacks still live in colored neighborhoods. And then look at how a "black" person walks talks reacts... it is different from whites. This is because of this segregation. The fact that racism is still there was very evident when Obama became Prez and gave the speech "Yes we can"... there was a lot of pain., suffering behind that speech. Now, even with the so called privileged Indians who call themselves US citizens, you shall see most do not have deep friendship with whites. They put their wards in colored schools & not pure white schools for fear of bullying. Priyanka Chopra was called chocolate. The Indian citizens come here and act like they are having such a privileged life there hide the fact that they are indeed second class citizens of America.

If the US constitution is the main root of all the problems in the US as the guest claims, it has the excuse of at least not being a religious document, unlike the Hindu doctrine that has created all the abominable discrimination that exists in India for millennia. The worst treatment that the awful slavery system subjugated the slaves with does not come close to untouchability and caste discrimination that your very religion promotes. There are people in India whose shadow is even considered pollution and not to mention their touch. A religion that separates society to the point that they will not even dine with each other should first fix itself. The number of people in India that are murdered because of untouchability or caste discrimination far outnumbers any race murders anywhere in the world. Amazingly, women rights were also mentioned with such a straight face that one would think that in India women actually enjoy more rights than the US. Is there a selective amnesia about widow burning in the past or widow ostracization today, where there are whole localities where they are sent to as if in jail to spend the rest of lives in? Please, do not think that I am defending the US but the only thing they got going for them is the constitution, and yes racism continues in the US till today. The guest has repeatedly in his videos discussed topics of history that he would never be able to defend with actual factual primary sources, and that is why he is only respected by the Hindutva.
