Jody Macdonald and Rich Mancuso talk wrestling on WFAN 660AM. The Wrestling Hour aired on WFAN in the late 80's / early 90's from 3AM - 4AM on Saturday night / Sunday mornings in New York.
This weeks guest is wrestling journalist Steve Mueller.

Getting to hear people talk about wrestling in 1991 as it was going on is something awesome. I wasn't even alive yet but I do a lot of research on it because I'm such a huge fan, and getting to listen to these is great. Thanks for uploading.

I've been listening to these shows of late from Oct, Nov, Dec and all the talk of Hogan vs Flair and how flair would end up with the title. Not one person suggested the title would be held up at the rumble. They even mention tournaments, etc.

I disagree with this Steve Mueller guy saying Flair was misused . They built him up perfectly until the Royal Rumble and stole the show.

Wwe/F has been mishandling wrestlers since the beginning. Same gripe from the fans as today.

Mancuso was a demonstrable liar. A constant liar. John Arezzi calls him out regularly on his current podcast.

Just came across this a year later. Liar? Very interesting. John Arezzi been bad mouthing me for years and I really don’t care. Years later seems this liar is still going strong and reputable as a sports journalist. .
