The perfect combination of organist and instrument. This is very reminiscent of Lee Erwin and the Moon River shows. Please keep up the good work and don’t change a thing.

Wow, Mark, if youre ever in Milwaukee could you teach me some technicque? I play classical and theater organ. You and Walt Strony rule!! Funny to hear an organ like this dry. Its like leon Berry's basement wurly!

That’s a very unusual stop! It’s a 16’ extension to the Kinura (built custom for this organ by Trivo in Hagerstown, MD. It’s right behind the swell shades and gets out well. It’s quite raunchy… Isn’t it wonderful?! :-)

@@markhermanmusic It's so powerful for a regal stop though! Such fun clownlike sort of contrabassoon-like sound. I'm so totally captivated by this entire sound world, the music, and the style of playing. In Sweden and the rest of Europe these organs hardly exist at all. I know there's a smaller Wurlitzer in Stockholm that somehow survived being thrown out of a cinema and then being moved around several times, now sitting in a former reactor hall (!) of the Royal Institute of Technology, but I don't think there's anyone in this country who can play in this style, sadly. Maybe you'd wanna make a little video demonstrating the different typical stops, and how you combine them to create these typical sounds? It's so different from a traditional church or concert hall organ

Very very very nice!!!! Great songs and fantastic performances. But if I may (controversy here I know!! lol) a smidgen of reverb? Maybe in post-prod? It is rather "dry" for my liking 😁

its too bad the pipe organ (including digital organs of today) play best the ole dated stuff. That's not a slam....its just that the organ never really evolved from its silent movie era. We know even some silent movie performers never made the grade to 'talkies'. They too grew 'silent', along with the silent movies...and the organs that accompanied. Really sad. i play pipe and digital organs (and love the piano too) but wonder what will become of our 'love' for these organs. Even churches are generally moving on or away from organ. Makes me sad. Why all this in view of this marvelous video>?? Well...these marvelous organ presentations are all based in the same song era genre. Artistry is not the issue in my opinion....in fact I compare musicians to the extent that 'One is not better than another. JUST DIFFERENT!" No. Its the old tune thing...same ole. OH WELL! IT IS WHAT IT IS. Let's just enjoy the ride??
