You got some things wrong, Rob: 1. Apocalypse and Genesis didn't fight for leadership. Genesis fought Apocalypse to make him open a gate. 2. Not every single mutant of Arakkii mutant is omega level, every single mutant of their *council* is. 3. Okkara does not exist anymore, it's split up into Krakoa and Arrako, they are in Amenth. 4. The Genesis war is not a war of omega level mutants unless you mean Genesis vs Storm and the Council, at most. Arakko isn't full of omega level mutants.

As a matter of fact there's a new part of the Arakkii council that consists of what they call useless mutants like the Fisher King, or Weaponless Jen or is it Chen. He also forgot all about the first mutants the preceded the 2nd generation introduced in the Marauders that were killed off by the Shiar. I can't recommend people to this site anymore, if you want decent X Men content then Blerd With Out Fear is the way to go.

2) Yeah, Apocalypse never came back to rule. He just left to be with his family. Genesis never lost control of leadership, Apocalypse has just been hanging around passively.

@@bryanjturner21 Yeah I usually go to this channel and Blerd to go over comics I have already read to get better insight or expanded upon information I may have overlooked from the decades of history. Blerd almost always teaches me something new or expands my knowledge gaps. But this video felt the opposite and felt like a step back. If I wasnt so informed with comics these past years I would have misunderstood several things.

Definitely. But boii does Feige and them have a lot of work to do when adapting mutants. So much history.. Choosing the right team is also crucial for their first appearance.. If Feige does go a route like this then that means mutants have always been around

@@trehubb6144 I hope mutants have always been around. Namor was, and it worked fine. Some backstory about them being persecuted/killed in secret, so they hid themselves, and we've got ourselves more mutants.

I respectfully disagree because this Hickman-era continuity suggests that mutants have always existed and interacted with humans to varying degrees. I'm just struggling to understand how they would incorporate mutants into the MCU at this point in time unless they reset the whole thing by introducing Moira, killing her off and rebooting that way, with MCU v2 as her 10th life or something like that. I just hope they don't do a Terrigen mist concept by having some catalyst that suddenly awakens the mutant gene everywhere.

@@integralinsanity1641 Jim Jaspers is a british dude who warps reality. He's insane. Warped up the whole country and created mutants. But the bad kind that spontatneously combust. Clyde is the Marquis of death. He's the only mutant in his reality. He brought his dad back from the dead and his mom overreacted and hit him in the head with a candle holder and gave him brain damage. You shouldn't give a reality warper brain damage. He ended up creating the marvel characters from comic books. Some say he's stronger than Franklin Richards, but who really knows considering how hand wavy reality warpers are. Gabriel Shepherd isn't a reality warper [to my knowledge] but he can do pretty much anything anyway. He has all the usual superman powers. But he can also freeze time and create things like molecule man. He's just really OP.

The end of this is interesting because Apocalypse knows how formidable the X-Men and the Mutants on earth are, so that’s why he’s like, “Genesis if you want to go, GO”. She thinks he’s weak but Genesis is going to get her cheeks clapped. What I’m concerned about is what are Apocalypse’s plans? What does have planned for the future of mutants?

My favorite character in the history of comics. He is the one and only. I feel he's never given his due. Such an awesome character that has been so underutilized by Marvel. Great job Rob. @@omegaminoseer4539 I don't mind his being "soft" now. I think he's as a product of his experiences, he has evolved in his thinking. Which is true character development. I wish Marvel would have him unleash his full powers and strengths in a battle with someone like Thanos' grandfather. He's always been too restrained, but they need to use him a whole lot more like Dr Doom is in The Fantastic Four.

He was probably intentionally written out (as well as Franklin being retconned) in order to make the mutants less OP for that storyline and also the whole Marvel comics universe in general

That may be a bit hard to implement, especially since Thanos for the most part has always been a nihilist (like his grandfather Uranos), and Apocalypse is more of a survivalist. I would love to see them clash though; I think that hasn't happened before yet

@@kei2kei how about a temporary truce, the goal is some new power source. I mean Apocalypse is wearing celestial tech and Thanos has some dealings with them. I wish they would take Apocalypse's story into the cosmos where he could come into conflict with Thanos if not work with him.

They can both co-exist. The Celestials might not have known or cared about anything other than the task they set out for him because it worked alongside their own. Or, it seems, they had dealings with him _before_ he met Genesis since he had discovered Celestial tech soon after he freed himself from being a slave.

Magneto I believe is a shell of what he was too. It’s like the most powerful ones throughout the years are taking the back seat to the newer characters. Personally I think the mutants such as apocalypse and Magneto should always remain at the top . Guess it’s for the plot of the story

Some had to mellow for the new order to take root, it's not a bad thing times will come when a writer returns these same characters to the top of the pecking order like they never fell off. Magneto going to come in with the Forget about Dre banging away.

I just think that Mutants needs to spread out further across the world and space where its impossible for characters like Magneto or Apocalypse to be within reach to help in a fight that requires Omega Level powers. So instead we get new Omegas to fill in the gaps, or brand new teams and characters being elevated.

Love the work you guys do here because I live in Japan now and it`s hard to get the comics I used to like. Hasn't manipulation of his body at the molecular level pretty much always been his power set? That's why he was able to integrate with celestial technology. That's why he's immortal, can grow, increase density, phase, etc. I suspect Kamala Kahn is a descendant of his and she would be a badass horseman in her rebirth. He basically just never goes apeshit on the X-Men and uses his power to it's highest potential because he wants them to live.

Molecular manipulation is rare but not tied to Apocalypse, there are many other mutants with that power. Apocalypse being an External which is a special sub-type of mutant is why he is immortal and his powers are elevated. Then he is also Omega Level which is why he is even FURTHER OP. On top of all that he is magically gifted and talented, which not all mutants are. THEN AFTER THAT he merged with Celestial tech and went even beyond those limits. Kamala is currently an Inhuman, which mean her powers and gifts do no come from any mutant descent.

@@SubzeroBlack68 I didn't say molecular manipulation, I said manipulation of his own body at the molecular level. That's literally always been one of his primary abilities. That's why he was able to increase his size and density to defeat a giant serpent even before merging with celestial tech. Being able to manipulate his body at the molecular level is why he could merge with the celestial tech

Okkara was not wholly locked away in the Amenth dimension. It was divided into two, Arakko and Krakoa. Arrako was the part that was locked in the Amenth dimension together with Genesis and her family and horde. Please check your info.

Why can't Apocalypse bust into anywhere that he decides to go and just lay waste to anyone that dares. Just busy any door down and say I Am He ! I Am That Guy !

The difference of ideologies of Apocalypse compared to Genesis is an interesting parallel to an older wiser matured person who has experienced many situations with time Vs the views of a head strong ignorant or young person who thinks their heavy handed thinking and actions will lead to greater results than the wiser individuals because they think they are strong or have fancy technology which is just a derivative of another technology/ process that came before. Life has powerful ways of hammering and suplexing those young or ignorant individuals to show them where their place is in the larger picture of things.

I mean its possible. Cerebro should have a copy of his mind. I mean sure he was erased from history. But with the magical "Waiting Room" that scans beyond space and time, it should have a copy of him. It even has copies of people who died before becoming mutant. The way it was written, the "Waiting Room" could theoretically bring over mutants from alternate universes like the Ultimate Universe for example.

I hope you’re theory is correct. I know what there are nutrients in the waiting room that Wanda created that can be brought back at any time. But I want some of the mutants we don’t see to get in on the battle. In particular Mad Jim Jaspers. Just see him snapping his fingers and turning okara’s mutants into whatever he wants would be awesome.
