Since LA whooped them around, humiliated them, and served them a big fat slice of humble reality pie they have looked broken and scared ever since. You can always pitch around 1 or 2 guys in any lineup and that gets even easier when the rest of the lineup isn't hitting. If you look at the lineups of O's, Cleveland and the surging Astros, just about everyone except 1 or 2 guys in their lineup has an OPS above .700.

Hey what are your thoughts on the Astros right now? They went from being one of the worst teams in baseball to one of the hottest. Had the best June record in all of baseball. It seems that Jose Abreu really brought some bad juju cause when he was on the team they sucked and were great when he got sent to the rookie league and great now that hes been released. The pitching has been a lot better too despite the injuries. Hunter Brown has had one of the greatest turnarounds I've ever seen. Id love to hear your thoughts on the situation but understand if you dont want to since youve made a few videos on them already.

As much as I hate big market teams especially the dodgers, I have to hand it to them because as we’ve seen, lots of payroll does not mean success with the Yankees. Dodgers are always great in the regular season, they revamp disgruntled players, have a good farm system. It’s impressive they just often choke come the post season

After about two months Boone has worn down the bullpen to shreds and other teams start exploiting the Yanks's defensive and lineup weaknesses. This has happened every year Boone and Cashman have been together. Sometimes the Yanks have so much (high priced) talent they're able to get through the entire regular season before falling apart in the playoffs. Other times they fall apart during the regular season. The end result however is and will remain the same.

As an O's fan, I'm loving every second of this epic collapse. The overrated, overpaid team that ESPN salivates over is well on their way to being in 3rd place come All-Star Break. They had a lucky 6 week stretch, and now they are playing up to their true potential instead of an anomaly. We own them, Boston owns them, and the months of July through October own them even more. Only thing that would make it better is if they miss the playoffs entirely. That's still a 50/50 in my book, but it's been a lot of fun lately!
