The cup holders are definitely useless, but you don't need to stay hydrated in this car. The rev line will quench your thirst.

I use mine all the time. They work fine. I don't put a big gulp on them but normal cups is fine.

@@sinclairal Before I bought mine I saw the Carfax on it the only thing besides tires and battery were cupholders three times lol The ONLY thing I hate about BMW is they use hard brittle plastics on everything So far just the center console door latch needed replacement and part cost 300ish It's super delicate so open and close lightly

Z3 M Coupe did it best, one tiny little cup holder you can’t fit anything but a garage clicker in, much safer.

That steeringwheel and seats is on my BMW Z4 3.0si roadster. It’s not exclusive for Z4M. And btw cupholders works just fine while driving. It’s when you enter the car with cupholders out, that problems come.

No they didn't this car was made between 2006 and 2008. You are thinking of the G29 z4, which was made 2019 still being made. BMW will never make a full Z4M again. Z4M was based off of the M3 e46

New owner of a 04' Roadster M 3.2/6 Cylinder. I've been told my model is last of the pre 2006 designed 3.2 M3 engine. How do I identify the above? I'm struggling to tell the difference between a 3.0 and a 3.2 M edition....

A friend of mine is selling his BMW Roadster Z4 but it's from 1999 and it has 195,000 me and he wants $10,000 which sounds too high to me do you know anything about these cars as I don't and trying to do Blue Book value isn't helping because the hood won't go down ... he said it needs to be fixed .

If you think the z4 coupe is rare, look up the Alpina version only 380 built worldwide, and ever car was hand built including the engine.

@@nicholasbui4197 but the z4 got a better platform than the m4. It is a standalone sport car not like the m4 that is a 3 series with 2 door and a bigger engine.

You are right. The M4 can’t even begin to compare to this as far as being a fun engaging drivers car. The Z4M is on a completly different level. This car weighs less, has a stiffer chassis, shorter wheelbase, quicker steering rack that is hydraulic, and an i6 with ITBs that revs to 8000RPM. No competition. Modern BMWs are way too big heavy and numb.

@@nicholasbui4197 Tell me you are an 18 year old kid without telling me... These cars are not even in the same stratosphere. The M Roadster will continue to hold value and look sharp whilst the M4 will look dated in 5 years.
