The Zebra G-450: a really nice EDC pen! Quick Clicks are back!

It's time for the return of the Quick Click! Short videos that cover some interesting non-fountatain pens that you might want to be aware of. Today's is the Zebra G-450. It's a metal bodied pen with a nicely grippy rubber section and a nice gel refill. I wish it were a little finer, but it certainly writes well.

Ever try to switch the gel refills of the two black ones into that silver F-701? Did they work?

That kanji (character) appears to be the one for Zen, as in Zen meditation. Printed as 禅 (this is as near as I can tell from a screen cap).

I keep a 701 ballpoint in my bag. I like the metal pen bodies more than the ink.

Yeah, I wish they could take different refills. The silver one is a classic. I've had that one forever.

Will this pen take a Fisher space pen refill

I don't think so. These use a very different sized refill than any Space Pen refill I've seen.

Nice-looking pen, but those gel refills from Zebra are the weeniest gel refills on the planet. I blow through them far too fast for them to be cost-effective.

That's the thing about gel refills. They run out way faster than a ballpoint. Live fast, die young.
