Honestly sucks that this is gonna be gone next week. I think it’s possible that Epic will keep OG as a separate mode, but I doubt they’ll actually do it. They could do what Apex does and rotate between the 4 map stages and loot pools of this season.

I think the problem with fortnite is that is that its too constricted by its lore. That's one thing thats great with games like pubg and apex, they are not confined to any specific lore and can do what they wanna freely.

⁠⁠⁠@@Myathaarththe thing is that, as someone who followed the lore from the start to around season 2 chapter 3, the lore just kinda sucks At first it was mysterious but everything somehow seemed cohesive and interconnected, but as time went on, i guess in an attempt of shifting things a lot, the story beats became more arbitrary, villains came and went, and stuff just started feeling less meaningful I think it would have been better if each chapter was its own secluded story, maybe with reoccurring characters, but i guess its just really hard to make a solid story on a game that thrives with constant change

Damn, Zanny and I have the same problem with this new menu. I absolutely hate the new menu and it was an unnecessary change and the shop is just too small. As he said, I liked “window shopping” in the shop.

Part of why Fortnite was so popular back in the day was because new LTMs came out so every KZfaqr could make videos on them. But now we have millions of half baked creative maps that feel like I’m playing a game for infants

I don’t know why but I feel more ready to buy something in the store when there’s not so much stuff in it. I think then the Fomo is bigger because you have the feeling that the items are more special 🤷

The new map actually forced me to try build mode again. I realized that the lack of no-build balance may create a worse experience for those players, but creates a more fun-based loot pool. I’d recommend trying build, even if you suck at it. And the lack of mobility actually adds something because if I shoot someone once I can track them instead of this idiot getting up a mountain to snipe me, or retreating halfway across the map in 5 seconds. Very fun season, even if I only think there’s 1 good pass skin!

As someone who can't build for shit, I call them earthbenders cause they're creating fucking buildings from nothing. That being said, there's tricks and mind games you can play that still give you a shot even if you can't build a room 😭

The reason the shop is so smal is probobly because thats how it was in OG fortninte, same with the menu, it looks like the first menu back in chapter one

i miss them as well and people will hate me for saying this but as someone that hardly played fortnite when it first came out and only really got into it near the end of chapter 2 im kinda glad this season is gonna be over soon. i know people really want to see the OG map stay but there just isnt enough content and things to do compared to previous seasons

Yup, Game lost it's originality, Battle passes are boring and the shop and cosmetics have lost their charm. I have nothing to really work towards and if I ever do get around to playing its like 1 or 2 matches for fun. Pretty much the same way I felt about Apex since day 1

the reason you get so many bots is because you so rarely play it. The first few games back will always be very botty because they're easing you back in-- rather than thrusting you into the fires of war. Also tilted isn't the hot drop it used to be idk why

Weird that you’re getting so many bots, I keep getting lasered by sweats and it’s pissing me off. Also, I’ve noticed that bots generally only carry one gun, no/limited ammo and maybe one other item. If someone is carrying a lot, they aren’t a bot.

The amount of bots these days is ridiculous, I literally started playing ranked exclusively now for the sole reason that there’s no bots in it. There’s enough players to have full lobbies and it doesn’t feel good when I kill them like what I assume there supposed to do, I’m just annoyed because I’m getting ready for a big fight with final player but then its a bot and I actually had been the only real person for 2 minutes. it’s not satisfying it takes away all the danger of 50% of the fights your in and makes me assume every fight is a bot that I don’t need to take seriously (which gets me killed)
