The ZGMF-2025/F GELGOOG Menace is a next-generation ZAFT mobile suit designed as the successor design to the ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior. The GELGOOG Menace is equipped with ZAFT's Wizard System, allowing it to adapt to various combat situations by exchanging backpack weapons and equipment. Several GELGOOG Menace units were given for use by the Compass peacekeeping organization to field test the design's combat performance. One was given to veteran ZAFT pilot Lunamaria Hawke for her personal use.

for those wondering, Universal Century does have Gelgoogs with Beam Shields and they are called RF Gelgoog and are used by Mars Zeon/Oldsmobile from the Gundam F90 series.

Missed context here: She does successfully shoot down the first missile, but the second missile was already a lost cause as even Heinlein was telling her that she can't shoot it down from where she is. Luna attempts to do so anyway, but predictably fails.

@@StrikeNoir105E It sucks to know just when i think Luna for once can take a W, turns out there's a second missile that's already too late to be taken care of. Tho this time it was something that's out of her control soo nothing she can do about it unfortunately

You know in the novel, Luna herself already wonders why she always ends up in situations like this and from my understanding, she even went under training with Dearka because at the end of the novel, Dearka was said to be something like her mentor.

Shooting was never her forte. She used 3 shots to destroy first missile. 2nd was beyond control. She has improved. But, if you compare her to the other FLs like Cagalli and Lacus, she's barely able to do much. Even Meyrin (outside screentime and during screentime) can do more than her. It gives the impression that Meyrin was the one born with talent and she wasn't. It's a pity. Morrosawa wanted to create coordinaters that were average and reflected that thought in Luna. Fukuda seems to have kept true to Morrosawa's wish.

⁠@@MSTF-jh7ku 多分、アルバートどころか周りも、ルナマリアを責める人は居ないと思う。アルバートからも「無理だから引き上げろ」と言われていた中だし、この時点で誰が見ても落とせないのは確定だっただろうけど、ギリギリまで落とそうと粘ってたのはマジで凄い。

@@Freedomcustom Yeah never seen that because I don't watch SEED, I got about 5 episodes in and gave up. Looked into it further to see if it was worth it and saw all the copies of UC designs and that just made me not want to go back.

GINN = Zaku CGUE = Gouf DINN = Kampfer (possible closest equivalent) GuAIZ = Gelgoog (tech tree) And I'm gonna stick with it.
