It'll grow back in another two weeks. I have this type of hair and it always looks harsh after the cut and then finds it's own groove after a week or so. It also grows real fast in specific spots on the head and because the curl pattern and hair texture isn't the same throughout, it looks like it will elongate faster to the front and fall softer on his forehead. The barber got it 💯 % right and his assessment is spot on.
