Alex Mason was my favourite American COD protagonist. John Price is my fav British COD protagonist, when Price killed Makarov, that was epic. There was a mission in the BO timeline where Mason, Hudson and Weaver's sister were in hiding and apparently Price (Modern Warfare) was supposed to assassinate them. I read this years ago though.

Although this was a good review of the timeline in the mw3 part you say that makorov had no reason to invade Europe . This had a reason to happen because almost all of Europe is America’s ally so makorov would have to do this in order to show that America was all alone.

Uhm the officila artwork you mentioned from modern warfare is a picture that you see at the end of cod 4 meaning it must have been Made during that game

I know this will likely help no one but in BO3 the first mission is most likely not in the simulation as the player has their arms and legs fucking destroyed and that is why the player is under going surgery the game frames this as the players gains the robot limbs but really the player dies during the dream. Also Infinite Warfare has the main character and captain of space ship (even though the main female character has the same rank and follows you area and both character only endanger themselves to progress the campaign with the main character almost dying to the vacuum of space twice) the most interesting side character(a literal robot) and the main character dying with Ethan self destructing and the main character finally has the one rule of space void apply to him and his helmet shatters and he finally suffocates.

That was a looooot to take in... While I do agree that MW3 was underwhelming, I will defend what you pointed out about Soap's death. Stabbed in the chest doesn't really mean you die unless you're stabbed in the heart, or maybe a lung. But a major artery is in the leg, and most of the bleeding could've even been internal, so he absolutely could've died from it, but survived a chest stab.

You do realize that we have a ton of arteries on the legs yes? A shot to the leg, especially the upper leg will kill you just as often as a shot to the chest, a shot to the groin region is almost always lethal without rapid medical attention.

I don't get why series do that. They have events in the past that could easily fit into their timeline and flesh out the setting, yet they just say it's a different timeline. GTA did the same thing and it's dumb.
