I just rediscovered this video from when we were just trying out our VGM covers live for the first time that for some reason I had never uploaded, and the band sounds INCREDIBLE! So I wanted to share it with you all to mark the debut of this incredible community, thank you everyone who has continued to listen to our music and support us these last 3 years :) to many more! "The 8-Bit Big Band" is a 30-65 member Jazz/pops orchestra that formed to celebrate and realize some of the best themes from video game music from all consoles and eras arranged in a large ensemble Jazz/Pop/Rock setting!
Blending together timeless musical themes from Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and more then re-arranging them in genres and styles of all musical inspirations, The 8-Bit Big Band has members from all around the world, but most reside primarily in New York City, and are some of the most highly sought after musicians and performers.

I put this concert on the background and as soon as I heard the sax solo on Bob-omb Battlegrounds I knew it was Patrick. I recognize those wild solos anywhere. Amazing show, y'all!

why did this set make me cry more than once. I felt the music and wanted to sing along and laugh and dance... But I also wanted to cry. The talent in this group is authentic and the true feeling s you get from the music is almost overwhelming! I love it. Keep up the good work you guys!

This was really something else.. love the studio versions of your songs, but holy cow these live sets are a real nice treat. My dream is to go to a few of these sets from a variety of bands. You guys being included in that list. Hope to have you guys in Chicago/Milwaukee area sometime soon! I wouldn’t miss it.

Man, I remember actually being there for the set. I wasn't even aware it was your first live show, it was such a fun romp! Seeing that Adam Neely video has given me a lot of feelings about that now.
