For those interested, part two of this song samples a song from the 1920s called 'When You Get What You Want You Dont Want It' which is a song about a spoiled child who throws away their toys when they get them. Which is pretty apt for Pizzahead, owning a whole Pizza Tower and yet wanting to destroy Peppino's little pizzeria just because he can/out of spite.

So, every boss in this game has an “enraged” second phase. The reason Peppino is able to absolutely destroy the bosses in phase 3 is because *Peppino just entered his second phase.*

Why does this goofy game about an anxious Italian man have one of the most hype final boss themes in any video game ever?

This OST is, as you said, "Peppino is mad". In the game, Peppino is in a permenant state of anxiety and stress, constantly uneased and worried about what's to come, screaming in terror when a boss shows up. But here, he is A N G E R E D, he has a resting face similar to if you insulted his grandma's biscuits.

It was when it hit phase 3 that I realized This isn't Pizza Face's boss music, *It's **_Peppino's_** boss music.*

I never thought about this but the move where Pizzahead pulls up an entire chunk of the tower is from him trying to use the sword in the stone powerup...something Peppino can do with ease and yet he's completely unable to as if he's unworthy of using it.

I like how no one interrupted the part of Peppino's absolute RAGE.

I love how there are like 5-6 leitmotifs from other levels in just this song, it really is a strong finale

This shows how experienced this dude is at drumming. He hears a song for 5 seconds, and already starts to play along to it.

I kind of hope people don’t spoil the game for Jerod since he just started playing Pizza Tower, but I can already see people name-drop a certain character. Hopefully the feeling of surprise and, well, *Unexpectancy* is retained when he gets to the part of the game where this plays.

There's this one upload of Unexpectancy from a KZfaq channel called "Mosscreepyboi", and I was secretly hoping Jerod would drum to that version, since while the one uploaded by Gallant Goon is more popular and probably the one most people listened to, I'm not a huge fan of the way they connected each part of the song. Mosscreepyboi has each part play out in their entirety and the transition between phases is a lot more seemless compared to Gallant Goon's version. The result is that Mosscreepyboi's version is 10 minutes long whereas Gallant Goon's version is 9 minutes long. That said, I don't think it would have made that much of a difference, since Jerod kept getting thrown for a loop with how crazy this song gets. And believe me, if you think the song is crazy, you should see the final boss fight it plays on!
