There was a severely handicapped wheelchair person in the front row on the left side, moaning and making noises and about 10 minutes into the show Steve-O was like "guys what the fuck's going on over here can you stop with the noise?" This interview specifically, yes, because steveo is so boring. But most of adams other interviews would have been much worse if nick were interviewing too. It would be overkill and ruin the dynamic. The interviews work because adam is able to appear sincere and naive and then will ask something funny that contrasts with his initial demanor, but if it's nick he's already got his cynical ironic get up from the start and it doesn't work.

This might be the best episode yet. It's Steve O being bullied for an hour by two fans, meanwhile he is stuck operating on a 5 second delay or just straight up not understanding the jokes. Nick coming in hot with full manic coke energy, constantly cutting him off, both him and Adam showing off how much funnier they are while Steve O tanks every bit. It's a beautiful disaster.
