This is the first song that I ever remember hearing from them. Made them a household name. It was their first top ten hit and first #1.

Back when they came out everyone used to say I looked like Wynonna judd..and we share the same birthday. LOVE IS ALIVE IS A GOOD JUDDS SONG TOO!

There is a "super group" consisting of Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmy Lou Harris from about 25 years ago entitled Trio. It has so many great songs you could do a lot of react vids from it.

Naomi Judd was a nurse, but not old enough to have been Elvis' nurse. Wynonna always sang lead, with Naomi doing harmony. Also...Wynonna's real name is Christina, and Naomi's is Diana.

The Judd’s had a lot of talent. This song burst on the seen, displaying their very unique sound and had that fun little hook with the long pause “he’s crazy…………. over me.” I really liked this song. And there was no looking back for them after this came out - they became mega stars almost overnight as I recall. You are going on quite a journey, taking in quite a bit of country stars from all eras. Not a superficial look at all. We’re all really enjoying your enjoyment of this music!

There's actually a duet made with Elvis and Wynonna called Santa Clause is Back in Town. Of course they took his original and incorporated her into it but it sounds like they are singing together!

Another great song from the Judds and this is the first time I've heard about Naomi and Elvis but then I don't get out much anymore but my granddaddy always told me that you can hear you want if you stand in one place to long

Judd’s are one of my Favorite. They were my dad’s also every time I here them it reminds me of him he has been gone now for almost 14 years! Thank you for them.

This song takes me back to rocking my babygirl to sleep and singing this song to her. I love the judds, have seen them live a cpl times. The Elvis thing I see to. He did sing a song about the cold kentucky rain. That happens to be where Naomi is from. Go figure.

“Grandpa” by the Judds takes me straight back to my time with my granddaddy… and how 30 years ago, when I was little and my granddaddy was here with us, it was such a different time. An easier time. My granddaddy was so respectful and taught us to live and let live, but stand for what you believe and never let someone treat a stranger bad- stand up for those around you. I just started watching your reactions and it’s helping me remember such great things :) so, I’ll look to see if you’ve already reacted to Grandpa. It brings tears to my eyes. Also, Martina McBride “Independance Day,” JoDee Masina (spelling), Randy Travis “Forever and Ever, Amen,” “Deeper Than a Holler” and “Three Wooden Crosses”. I could go on and on. You may get folks recommending that you react to Wynonna’s solo stuff. May I recommend “She Is His Only Need” as one that you try? I think it’s her best song. It was her first single and one of her four #1s.

I've never heard a bad Judds song in my life. Elvis is not her father. She never got to meet her bio Dad in real life, but she was shown a picture of him, and she is the spitting image of her bio Dad. However, she does sing in an Elvis type of style, and even sang Don't Be Cruel with the Jordanaire's(who sang back up with Elvis). She also sang with Carl Perkins who had an Elvis type style voice as well(Let Me tell You About Love). You can't go wrong with The Judd's!!

This was my first time hearing about a possible Elvis connection with Wynonna so I did a small amount of digging. I couldn't find any info about the yrs Naomi was in nursing school without getting crazy about it. However if you just take a look at how old Naomi was when Wynonna was born....which was 18 yrs old....that knocks out the likelihood of her being his nurse. Could they both have been in Memphis around 1963 when Wynonna was conceived? He certainly was...he was out of the army by then and I guess she could've been too but reports say Wynonna was born in Kentucky so idk. I guess its possible that they met under some other circumstances just not likely nursing. I do see the resemblance between Wynonna and Lisa Marie but that's not proof.

You should hear Wy singing the gospel song I CAN ONLY IMAGINE. It is the best it's ever been sung and straight from her heart. I LOVE THESE TWO LADIES !!!

Elvis is not her father. Naomi got pregnant in high school. She married a boy who was not the father. Wynonna did find out who her father was but he had already died before she got to meet him. She was shown his picture and she is definitely that man's daughter. She looks just like him. Not Elvis unfortunately. She also found out that her biological father had followed her career and had newspaper clipping about her. He apparently knew the truth but didn't reach out to her after she became an adult.

"I'm not trying to gossip..." Then it pours out! :P lol But yea, I had never heard that info over the years. I could see it too.

Wynonna's father was a man name Charles Jordon. Noami was dating her daughter Ashley's father Michael Ciminella when her younger brother Brian was diagnose with Leukmia. Spending a lot of time alone helping to take care of her other siblings and Michael when to a boarding school so he wasn't around a lot. She was happy that another person was thinking about her so she was with Charlie, but for years she told everyone it was Michael even wrote that he was Wy bio father in her first book. Ashley father told her that Wynonna wasn't his bio daughter when she was in her teen, but Wy didn't find out until she was in her 30's. She didn't meet Elvis until the 70's Wynonna was born in 1964.
